Review: The packaging was nothing special. It arrived in a standard Amazon paper bag with just a plastic liner inside. No Steve Madden box, no tags, no description cards. If you're buying this as a gift, you need to repackage it yourself. Once opened, the quality surprised me. I expected something basic for the price, but the build is solid. The material feels durable, not cheap. The buttons are secure, clearly say Steve Madden (as do the tags). For a jacket sold with zero premium packaging, the actual product is impressive. A major note on fit: This is an oversized jacket. It is not a mistake if the sleeves look long, that is the intended style. The sleeves are baggy, while the torso offers a comfortable, loose fit. It hangs well if you like that look, but if you want a fitted jacket, look elsewhere. Definitely check the size chart before you buy. It’s a great option for a gift if you wrap it nicely, or for yourself if you want a solid, baggy leather look without the high end markup. It’s a nice jacket but waaaaaay too big for the size chart so l wear XL in jackets & coats but this runs super big so might want to go down 2 sizes for a good fit bcuz it’s so puffy around the back area so this jacket is not a slim fit even tho it has smaller sizes but this a plus jacket bcuz it’s wide .. ... show more

I got this Steve Madden jacket in black, for $20 on the Black Friday Sale. I had it in my cart for a month, waiting for a Deal of the Day or a Flash Sale, since I wasn’t sure it would be worth the $50… I’m 5’6”, 180-187 lbs. I got the 2XL. It fits loosely, as intended, with no pulling/binding across my wide shoulders. The back length hits upper to mid butt and the front is just below the crotch, when zipped. When unzipped, the length hits at about my hip sockets. It is the softest material, not stiff. The lining is satin-ish. The hardware is gunmetal black, which is my favorite. The collar is just stiff enough, to lie flat and not curl on the tips. This looks casual, but also very classy. I will be buying another at regular price, for a back-up, just in case I damage this one. It is well worth whatever the current price is, when I go to order the back-up.
