They work perfectly. The type is clear and easy to read. The cards are not super flimsy so they will hold up to quite a bit of use. They really have been helpful with the granddaughter learning to read and speak.

This set of flash cards features some amusing drawings, not photos of real subjects. The pictures catch your eye and promote learning. The cards are one-sided, with the "Steve and Maggie" basic picture on the other side of each card. We like the selection of sight words and that plastic rings were included for sorting the cards into categories. The set is quite portable and could easily be placed in a bag to pull out when a child needs something to do. We would have liked the cards to be more sturdy and a bit thicker; also the storage box is relatively flimsy. Overall, the flash cards are a good learning tool, and we appreciate the inclusion of activity ideas.

I ordered these Steve and Maggie flash cards for my grandkids in preschool because I love flash cards. I don't know who Steve and Maggie are, but apparently they do and they were thrilled. That made it all the more exciting to play with the cards, which are sturdy enough (although the box is a bit thin). The plastic rings that hold the cards together is a great idea, allowing them to create flash decks for on-the-go fun in the car, at my house, or anywhere that they normally haul their little backpacks of toys, without creating a mess or losing the cards. It made a great and much appreciated stocking stuffer.
