I've worked 911 and events as a Paramedic for over 18 years so I don't go anywhere without my stethoscope and I have tried cheaper plastic versions of this same product idea but they just don't fit all the different stethoscopes that I use. This is not only universal but it fit all of my stethoscopes from my tiny neonate to my larger cardiology so I plan on buying a few of these. Having anything around your neck where I work can be dangerous as combative patients can grab it so I usually have my scope in a side cargo pocket which can be hard to get out and it tangles. I was really impressed how this holds the scope and I can remove it with one hand and when it's on it felt really secure. I clipped this to my 1.75" belt and it didn't let me down after two 12 hour shifts on a really busy ambulance. I sat and stood and got in and out of my truck and it never once felt like I was going to lose it. I used to just keep my stethoscope on the dashboard but sometimes you end up leaving it there at the end of a shift and it may or may not be there when you get back. This is really designed well and it looks really nice and professional. If your a Paramedic, EMT, RN, LPN, CNA, MD or in any other position where you need a stethoscope and are tired of having it hanging around your neck all shift then please give this a try. This is by far one of the best pieces of gear I have purchased in a long time. I absolutely 100% recommend this and it deserves all five stars!!! ... show more

I really like this stethoscope holder. The back clip is tight to the holder and I have to spread it a bit to clip it to my waistband or on my bag - which means it also doesn't come off too easily if it snags on something. The closure device is velcro which at first I wasn't sure if I would like, but it is holding up nicely so far. The velcro has a strong hold and I've yet to accidentally pull it open. I am in EMT school so I have to have my stethoscope available all the time. The holder allows me to attach it to my backpack or my pants, and it's very secure so it won't fall off.

A much better solution for storing your stethescope than a scrub pant pocket or a waist pack in my opinion. It us is well built with large circular velcro that clasps the ear pieces. I was worried that it wouldn't work with the ear piece facing outwards so they don't press into clothing but it works well. The clip is also very strong and there should be no problem clamping onto a scrub waistline without the need for a belt or stronger material. Highly recommended! ... show more
