I purchased this a few months ago and my son just opened it to put together. He got to the part where you put on the wheels, and he is missing 5 out of the 10 that he needs. I’m not sure if there is a way to get just the parts he needs from the seller. Other than that it seemed to be a cool project kit. The directions could be a little more detailed at the part where you’re supposed to connect the battery wires though. ... show more

A little difficult for a 6 year old to build on their own, but in a good way. My son spent an entire day building all of them. He absolutely loved the kit, and learned a lot about motors, gears, and electricity along the way.

Great gift for my son who loves stem activities. It can be hard to find activities that stimulate him without being too hard or needing too much of moms help. Has very tiny screws be careful not to loose them. Other than that highly recommend.

I bought these for my great grandson who was 6 at the time. He loves to do Legos, so figured this would be just as fun for him. He struggled a lot with them because the screws are tiny, tiny, and the holes you have to put them in are also very small. He struggled with it so I put them together. It was difficult for me because of my fingers being bigger than a little boys. Also the wires that you use to connect to the battery part are very fragile and easy to break. Overall everything worked and they are cute to watch. They move slow so they’re not for anybody that’s wanting to be speed racer. I bought a box and had him and a couple friends work on them so they could each have one. The other kids struggled as well. So I would definitely say these are for older kids maybe closer to 12 year olds. They are cute. 😁 because his age had such a hard time with them. I gave them a lower score. I wish the plastic bases were more firm and the holes and screws were a little bit bigger. ... show more
