They say the best security combines something you have (the car key) with something you know (the combo on this lock). Now I finally have the peace of mind to know my idiot teenagers (who aren't able to drive legally yet) will stop stealing my cars at night. My idiot 13 year-old totaled my 2013 Prius and I had to replace it. The kid had to use 3 pillows behind his back to reach the gas pedal. My idiot 15 year old used one of the cars to steal leaf blowers from the high school. I see what look like a decent amount of fake reviews for this product. I don't see why they need to do that. It's exactly what I was looking for - something sturdy with a combo lock that makes it really annoying to drive the car, or nearly impossible if you need to make any sharp turns. It fits fine in all of our cars (2 minivans, a Bolt, an Accord, and a Civic). Also the 2 Priuses that are no longer with us. The device is heavy and strong, as it should be. At first the combos are hard to rotate, but they loosen up quickly. Sometimes it's awkward to unlock it because you have to contort yourself around it to sit down comfortably, but I think that would happen with all "Club" type devices. All in all, I was so happy with this product that I started with one, and then bought them for all the other cars. After the kid totaled the Prius, I put one on my motorcycle (a Honda Shadow). It actually works! I have it wedged between the spokes and the pedals in such a way that it can't be driven without unlocking it. I was surprised it worked on a motorcycle. So I had to buy 1 more when we replaced the Prius with an old Civic. Then again I just went to take a photo of the one on the motorcycle and realized you could probably get it off my backing it up a little, so it likely won't work. So I was an idiot thinking that would work. I guess that's where my kids got it from.

Not bad, but I have 2 issues. First, the hooks should be rounded more, so they don't leave a pressure mark on the steering wheel. Second, these don't have a notch which locks it in, in the closed position. Be cautious of the angle your holding it, so it doesn't slide out and break something. but it does have a notch to lock it in, in the full open position, if you were to try and use it as a long extended weapon club.

The media could not be loaded. It's nice to have a code instead of a key and it's heavy duty but there seems to be a lot of steering play. I thought it would stop at my windshield but that is not the case. This is a Kia Forte
