It's pretty much on par with any basic mousepad, but the extra stitching on the edges gives those edges a little extra weight, which means that it will not curl the way that basic mousepads do. Comes rolled tightly in a slim box. I rolled it up in the opposite direction for an hour, it lays flat. The surace doesnt feel slick to the touch but is perfect for the mouse. It glides with just a little resistance. I haven't experienced any tracking issues with a Steel Series Prime+ with typical 1100dps/1000hz setting. Edge embroidering doesn't chafe excessively if you are a palm or fingertip orientation with the mouse. The surface stays clean, doesn't seem to attract dust or filth. The large logo at the bottom left catches the mouse if I favor that spot. A smaller or less grippy logo, would be better. It just leaves a raised spot, which is the only detractor for this mousepad. ... show more
