I have them for a while now since they came out bc I needed a long battery life and good connectivity. i been tired of other headset that need to be plugged by USB or could only connect one device at a time. I like to play audiobooks or my own music when playing some games and the duel aspec of this is great. I can set it to xbox mode or pc mode and either way I'm set. I also noticed if your too lazy to switch it to xbox mode you can just plug the audio wire direct to your controller and it works that way also lol. Also the fact that the mute button on the headset it perfect. The mic is fine not the best but not the worst. Audio is good. The value for money is great as you caan connect 2 devices at one like your phone and xbox. Battery life is great someday I forget to charge and its still good ... show more

I was not impressed with the sound quality , at first. Time and experience with the software changed my mind. I use these for Battlefield 6 and other games and the sound profiles are easy to switch between. I was able to adjust my music profile for casual listening of music and I do like them. I purchased this product NEW and went back to verify i wasnt mistaken. This was to replace my first Gen Arctis 7 that isnt charging properly anymore. The first thing I noticed was the product seal sticker seemed tampered with. I opened the box and found a headset with a ear cup completely snapped off. I thought it may have been a manufacturing defect until I also saw the discoloration and fade on the inside of the headband. This is gross. I just paid full price for a broken, used headset. I really like Steelseries as a company but you have to get this kind of stuff fixed. It was very dishearting to get a product in this condition delivered to my house. ... show more

I use these CONSTANTLY! Thy are super comfy and sound AMAZING! I struggled with turning them off but my husband showed me on his and it worked! I love the BT capabilities and have used it on work calls etc. totally worth the money!

Bought the Nova 7X Gen 2 because the microphone on my Gen1 got pulled out and broken by my toddler. Decided to get the newer model and like it however not blown away. Its still a damn good headset. Problem is for the improvements they made such as being able to use the companion app to control EQ and better battery life, the microphone has not improved one bit. Its passable but when you have far better microphones on the cheaper Nova 3 and Nova 5 it makes the purchase a little harder. Granted I still prefer the build quality of the Nova 7 with steel band as opposed to the all plastic builds of those cheaper models. I am also not a fan of the stock Steelseries ear pads so I bought the Wicked Cushions Stealthz model at the same time and love them on the headset. They are slightly firmer and feel better to me. With a decent EQ, you can hear everything and I mean everything in shooters. I gave 4 stars because it is a great headset however if you have a working Gen1 model I wouldn't consider getting this one ... show more

Good gaming headphones. Good sound, good directional sound. Other players often say my mic is too low and can’t resolve unless restart the headphones. BUT you can’t update firmware with a Mac. The app reminds me I need to update the headphones right out of the box - and I can’t. That’s a bummer.
