It took me a minute to see how I would want my boom arm ( first time using one) and I think the Mic works better upside down with it that way the mute button and capsule will pick up your voice way better. The arm is very easy to use, and the quality is great its Worth the money. Now the microphone part of the review. It's absolutely phenomenal. I got the USB version since I don't have a PC setup, but the sound quality is top notch even with out sonar. I recommended this microphone over the over priced microphones on the market!

The audio quality of this microphone is an amazing value. I was concerned at first because of the price I originally was going to go for a cheaper option, but now that I have it I'm super happy I went this way. All of my friends were shocked at how amazing I sounded. You just take it right out of the box and plug it in with the included type c cable and you're good to go, super simple setup. I absolutely love the LED choices with the mute button and tasteful rgb on the bottom which gives it a professional look without compromising style. The on device gain controls are also nice and the associated software is nice as well for adjusting noise gate sensitivity and such.

Sound quality is amazing, the mute button is super handy, the stand is great and looks good and it’s easy to mount on a mic arm. Only downside is it needs a ton of fiddling to get the volume right but you aren’t provided with many ways to do it easily. The gain knobs on it feel honestly useless, and on discord I keep getting told I’m too quiet when sometimes you can hear the tv downstairs from it. I love the steel series software for everything else but it doesn’t feel great customizing this mic.

I've had multiple $150 or cheaper mics for streaming and vids over the years, and none came close to this. It's been one day, but if it doesn't break or explode, easily worth the price for quality. Now, I can have my speakers up while streaming and everything is filtered perfectly, instead of wearing a headset for some things. Strongly suggest this mic for clarity and noise canceling ability with filters in OBS and other voice mod options.

To start off, this isn’t a plug and play microphone. You’ll need to play around with the audio configuration a little bit to get the results that you want, and to do that you’ll need to download the dedicated software for it. But once you get it all set up and working, it works amazingly. I’ve never heard my voice as crystal clear in any other microphone, and the easy access microphone controls make it better. I’ll have to admit, I had fun pushing the mic mute button a couple of times just to feel the button and see the light turn on. As for physical installation, it’s really easy to do as long as you follow the instructions. It did take me a little bit personally because my desk is currently a cable nightmare but the cable length should be more than enough for most users. Also, the RGB on the control panel is a pretty neat addition, especially if you have other SteelSeries RGB enabled devices. If you want a top tier microphone and don’t mind paying a bit of a premium, this is the microphone for you. My only gripe (and this is a general SteelSeries problem, not exclusive to the mic) is that you can’t disable the RGB engine without uninstalling the entire software suite if you want to use another RGB control program (like SignalRGB).

First of all false advertisement. Just out of the box it does not redude any background noise. The plane flying add they show is just so misleading - first it reqiures the software to achieve the result and the software only works on PC not Mac. The build of this mic is also so weird. Why would they use rope to tie the mike to the holder - I have no idea.
