I used these for locs. I like them but you have to get used to the size and grip accordingly. If it were in a block holder I think it would make it much easier for beginners, at least for the purpose I used it for, but over all it’s fine

This is my second time purchasing these hooks. I have no purchased other micro hooks from other brands so I'm not sure how they perform comparatively. I use these to crochet roll on bracelets and the third smallest works like a charm with my wildfire beading thread. The smallest of the hooks is too small and the "hook" is actually just a knob on the end of the handle, I thought this wad a fluke in the first set but it's the same on the second set as well, however I don't have any need for the smallest one so it's not a loss to me. The media could not be loaded. I'm not happy at all! #1.. The point of these coming in their own package sleeve, is for storage. The point of it being clear with size markings, is so you can see which size you want & which is which. So to cover the WHOLE thing in a big sticker that can't be easily taken off & can't be taken off without leaving a bunch of tacky residue.... Infuriating to say the least!! My 2nd issue... I LOVE Susan Bates hooks bc they have a pointer tip instead of being rounded. Since using Bates hooks, I haven't been able to use any other kind. So I have almost all her sizes, except these smaller ones. When I got them out, they aren't like the more common sizes at all. They don't have a point to them like all the other ones, they're totally rounded just like the standard cheap hooks.. I'm not happy with this purchase & I'm not at all happy with how they packed it! ... show more
