It’s unbelievable how difficult it is to find a compatible electric box plate for a nest thermostat. But this one worked. Well kind of. No screws included so I had to improvise. What a nightmare installing that silly thermostat was.

Do not buy if you have a Nest 2nd generation (Model 02A). The holes do not align on the Nest and they barely align on the junction box. You might be able to squeeze in the screws but it’s not ideal. Pretty much impossible if you’re installing a wall plate in between.

The screw holes do not align with the Nest 3rd Generation learning thermostat as advertised. It MAY fit the Nest E or other generation models, but it DOES NOT fit the 3rd generation model.
