    • Fits well but disappointed in the color
It did fit very well with the nest thermostat but I ordered the same color as the thermostat and was disappointed in how dark the gray was. It did the job in hiding the marks from the old thermostat. Just the color is a little bit too much.

The material is well made. It fits the Nest Thermostat well. It fits flush against the wall. The color doesnโ€™t exactly match the thermostat, but itโ€™s not that big of a deal for me. It looks nice to me that way.

    • Easy to install but color is wrong
The reason I gave this four stars is not for the plate itself because that is just fine. It is because the color fog is so much darker than the nest thermostat in fog. I will paint the plate to match the wall color so as to make it less conspicuous.

While the trim kit itself seemed to *look* new, it looks like it had been used before. One of the mounting screws had been installed and broken off. I had to remove the broken piece with a pair of pliers. Other than that, everything was good.
