Bought alongside Steam Deck because the Valve dock is so needlessly expensive. Does everything I need, feels solid and not fragile, holds the device just fine, and everything connects easy and without any fuss. For an affordable, simple dock it does everything you need without any difficulty. I've used it both attached to my TV and stand alone with a wired mouse and keyboard to get the Deck set up, worked great for both purposes. Only two things is I wish it came with a power cable of it's own, for the price I feel it should come with something, and I wish it locked the deck in place a little more, but I've got rowdy dogs and the only available space is a low shelf so that's not gonna be a problem for everyone. ... show more

Great functionality here, should be noted does not fit great with the Xbox ROG Ally... works perfectly, but kinda have to stand your unit properly for it to utilize the stand part of the dock. Connect cord is pretty short too, as, at least when using the stand, I kind of have to pickup the dock to attach the charging cord, then do the proper fitting for sitting the unit in the stand... minor annoyance, but legit, 5-star product - just nice to share limitations for using this for the xbox rog ally. ... show more

Dock is not perfect (sometimes volume doesnt work on eternal display, sometimes I have to connect or disconnect the Deck from the Dock a couple times for it to recognize the external display and a few other minor issues, it s a bit finicky TBH) althou it works, issues arent as game breaking as u might think from my review. The dock is good, just not perfect, be aware of that. I dont regret buying it as it s cheap and gets the job done regardless. ... show more

Its good in theory, but the dual display is buggy. The audio can be on the wrong device, with no interface to be able to switch the audio to the correct device. No known issues with the usb or ethernet port.

I recently purchased a Steam Deck but didn't want to buy the official dock from Steam. After a bit of research, I decided on this one. I'm currently using it hooked up to an ultrawide monitor via the HDMI port. I have it hardwired to a switch and am getting great download speeds. I also have a USB 3 hub attached to one of the ports and have a keyboard/mouse combo and an external drive connected to the hub. I've had the dock for a month now and have had no issues at all. I picked up this dock because I liked that it had three USB 3.2 ports plus the HDMI and Display Port for added flexibility. This dock appears to be built with good quality, however the power cable that connects to the Steam Deck eventually stops working. That power cable becomes the single point of failure after constant use. After almost 2 years of daily use with this dock, it has finally crapped out on me today and would no longer charge my Steam Deck or connect to an external monitor/TV. I tried fiddling around with different HDMI cable and, moving the power cable around to a different angle, etc. and it no longer seems to work. Oh well. I made this last for almost 2 years.
