This stand is just what we needed for our backyard. We do not have any trees to attach the camera to. With this stand, we were able to mount the trail camera plus the solar panel very easily.

    • Easy Install -- but pretty lightweight. Suggest strapping it to a T-Post, or a tree.
Mounting stand is pretty lightweight for such heavy camera & solar panel -- it worked ok, but it wouldn't withstand a deer rubbing against it very long. Ended up strapping the mounting stand to a tree and now it's super! The adjusting knobs are great for getting just the right angles on everything; knobs are sturdy and secure. Superior to former knobs that came with my Spartan cameras. I'm totally pleased! ... show more

    • This item works but isn't totally necessary, hence only 4 stars.
I bought this last year and like using it, but I have since learned that a pressure treated 2x2 and provide the same results and is much cheaper. Downside of this product is that the screw threads are exposed and will begin to rust unless treated. So be careful of that. It is height adjustable, but only to a certain extent. I found myself wanting it to be taller in certain situations to get above weeds and such. Overall, pretty well made, easy to use, and works as described. It just isn't the best bang for the buck in my opinion. ... show more

If you’re looking for a permanent trail cam mount use a tree or pound in a T-post. People buying this for permanent mounting will likely be disappointed. I use this to locate hogs. Easy to get in and out, and easily adjusts to terrain changes. Works great for that application.
