Works very well with camera and solar panel setup. The stand is solid and stable in the ground, no wobble issues. It has a number of height adjustments that locks in.

Really nice trail cam mount. It is in use with a solar cell power bank attached. The mounts with swivels are some of the best I have used. The ground stake is solid, and I like the height adjustment.     • This item works but isn't totally necessary, hence only 4 stars.
I bought this last year and like using it, but I have since learned that a pressure treated 2x2 and provide the same results and is much cheaper. Downside of this product is that the screw threads are exposed and will begin to rust unless treated. So be careful of that. It is height adjustable, but only to a certain extent. I found myself wanting it to be taller in certain situations to get above weeds and such. Overall, pretty well made, easy to use, and works as described.     • Great camera & solar panel mount.
There isn’t a better camera mount out there that Im aware of. I own 5 and just purchased a 6th. Never had an issue with damage due to wind and i live in florida and they have survived very high winds. I see one post claiming that wind damaged the main spike. No way that could occur. Ive had very large 200# pigs push them over but even with solar panel & camera attached there is not enough surface area to have wind push them over and break the spike. The are holes in the bottom plate that is attached to the main spike. I use the J-hook rebar that you can purchase on Amazon to assure it is wobble free and more secure than the spike alone. Thats what the holes are for. 12-16 inch size j-hook rebar is sufficient. Make sure you buy the diameter that fits the holes. Tent stakes wont work as well as the J-bar. No disappointment on this purchase. One suggestion for the manufacturer would be to increase the adjustability of the overall height. ... show more
