  • Items was easy to install and works great.

  • Works great on Windows 10
Style: PCI Express (PCIe)
I got a new Linksys WRT1900AC wireless router recently, but my wireless PC adapter wouldn't stay connected to it. This was one of the cheaper options that had good reviews and is compatible with Windows 10, so I gave it a shot. It has performed perfectly. Easy installation and haven't had a single problem with it since I installed it over two months ago. Didn't have to install drivers, as Windows found them automatically. Can't ask for anything better than zero effort. ... show more

  • Won't Improve Your Internet
Style: PCI Express (PCIe)
I get a strong connection with this adapter. It doesn't make the internet speeds faster unfortunately, but that's more on my provider. This little card is great. I wish it had Bluetooth too, but you can't have everything. My advice is if you can find another adapter that includes Bluetooth for around ten dollars more, it's worth the investment. I regret not doing so, and now I either have to buy another adapter or use up a usb slot for that adapter. ... show more

  • NOT returnable
Style: PCI Express (PCIe)
I purchased two of these units for two new Lenovo desktops. One worked perfect, the other wouldn't boot up if the card was in it. I swapped cards out and the other computer wouldn't boot. Contacted Amazon Customer Service and they apologized but said the item is not returnable through them and I have to contact the manufacturer. ... show more

  • READ THIS FOR INSTALLATION
Style: PCI Express (PCIe)
I bought this product from Amazon and the first one arrived and after carefully installing the card, my Windows 7 32 Bit Computer would not find new hardware after I install the card and rebooted. The light on the card would not light and the Driver on the CD would not install. Of course I thought the card was toast. Wrong, I sent the card back thinking it was bad and the new one arrived, same thing, Would not find new hardware after reboot ect. I did a google search for startech drivers and found the support site. Clicked on the picture that looked like my card and downloaded the driver. This time the driver installed. it was about a 64 MB Download and it installed flawlessly and I was then able to use windows to enter my wireless key. I hope this helps other people buying this card. ... show more

Had my son choose this wireless adapter and install. I am zero computer savy. He installed it quickly, comes with a software Cd. No trouble with the installation, software or set up. I use it for home internet with ATT Uverse wifi for internet. Have had no problems good buy for the price. Speed might be too slow for gaming but for home use it works. ... show more

  • An affordable backup connection
Style: PCI Express (PCIe)
A suitable backup internet connection at an affordable price. Purchased for installation into a mini case build, this unit ships with a low profile bracket and uses the single small connector on a Biostar board. The ads state 300Mb/s, (maybe in a perfect environment), but not in mine. Although it is shipped with a driver disc, I found that Windows 7 SP1 couldn't find it and didn't like the driver on the supplied disc, bummer. Anyway I found that the driver online turned it into a positive experience as it works at acceptable speed. I would not however suggest one for a friend or family member. Suitable backup but not a good choice for a primary WiFi connection, use a dual band to get over 600Mb/s service. (2.4 and 5Ghz) ... show more

  • Works Great
Style: PCI Express (PCIe)
I ordered this with zero reviews. I have an HP HPE series desktop with windows 7 I-5 Processor (purchased Christmas 2011). Needed wireless. Absolutely a novice to working on computers. Shut down the computer, plugged in the chip, fired up, plug and play worked perfectly. Using this with a Linksys wireless G router. Have no way to gauge speeds but does exactly what I need it to do. Also came with a driver CD. ... show more
