They work great. I've been easily make custom length extension cords. However the terminals are all the same color. You'll have to work it out. I learned that looking down on the square side, the white goes on the right.

Good value. This design is a lot easier to wire up than others I have purchased. I did use electric tape to help secure the plug to the wire but overall I think it is a good design.

These are not only small enough to be convenient, they're small enough to fit in the recessed plug areas for electric weed wackers, lawn mowers, chain saws, etc. The larger rubberized, round fittings for creating/repairing extension cords are more durable and resist destruction a bit better, but they also hang up on obstructions more easily.
