I looked a quite a few different types of machines and not only was this less expensive than the others, but it appeared to be easier on the back. As I've gotten on in age, it has gotten more difficult for me to get up and down and I worried about it. This is a good way to start building lower body strength. I really like it. I Wanted something similar to the DBmethod workout machine, but didn't want to spend $280! This was a LOT more inexpensive so had my doubts, but OMGoodness, I could work out on this all day! It's not difficult and kinda fun while watching TV, then the burn sets in afterwards... and that's how I knew it was really working! Came with an amazingly thick nice mat and stretch bands for your legs and arms. I worked my arms last night while squatting, and yes I am sore today! I bought this hoping to give it to my wife for mother's day and it came with no instructions and the coil was completely broken! I tried calling the warranty card number and it says it doesn't exist. I was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my hips. This is a cute little machine and it was very affordable. My wife even let me keep it in the living room! lol I would like an adjustable spring tension though. Looking forward to making good use of the machine to strengthen my legs.
