Wow! What a great idea! Giving ST:A players both a SOLO MODE AND 2-PLAYER CO-OP MODE....against THE BORG! How can one go wrong!?!?! Thankfully, GF9 hit it out of the park on this one! It adds yet another dimension to an already excellent game, making it so that you can play by yourself! The Borg are strong, but if you band together with the other players, or play well on your own, then you can overcome them.

ST:Ascendancy is by far the best of all the various ST-derived board games, with an interesting mechanic and a number of additional expansions to make it more fun to play. The Borg expansion allows single-play and a more complex, difficult mechanic to beat even in multiplayer games.
