Slide, collide and score to win the Sorry! Game. Kids draw cards to see how far they get to move one of the pawns on the board. If they land on a Slide they can zip to the end and bump their opponents' pawns – or their own! Jump over pawns and hide in the Safety zone where opponents can't go. Kids keep on moving and bumping until they get all three of their pawns from Start to Home. But watch out, because if the pawn gets bumped, Sorry! It's all the way back to Start! Sorry! and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.

I got this on sale for $5 and was expecting it to be of really cheap quality. This one was not cheap, though. The board is thick and folds nicely. The game pieces are super light plastic so they may be fairly cheaply made, but they are fine. The draw cards off of decent thickness too. As far as the game goes, it is fun and easy to play. The cards that you draw tell you exactly what to do so there isn’t a lot of intellectual requirement. It’s great for a family board game. Sorry is a great game for four and lots of laughs and sorrow. A game lasts between a half and one hour and can be played by both children and adults. The quality of the board and pieces are much different than the version I had in the 90s as a kid. Luckily, I'm older now and not playing with children, so the cheaper construction isn't a concern as I take care of my things. I do like that the board is smaller, and so the box takes up less space when stored. There are a few rule changes, along with slight differences to the board, from the version I played in the past, which did take some getting used to and required me to remind my mother frequently while we played, so if you have past familiarity with the game, and you are a bit older, the learning curve may be a little higher than those coming into the game for the first time. Overall, it's still a fun game, and the quality isn't an issue for me personally, but if you have rowdy children, you may want to invest in a sturdier version, though it may not be as compact, which for me was just a bonus. Gameplay is quick, so even those with ADHD should be able to remain attentive and have fun, once they get a hang of the rules. I do believe the classic version was more fun however because the "Sorry" card didn't give you an alternative option. This version feels a bit too "nice" because of this, like it's encouraging you to not play aggressively as your opponents know that you have an option of whether to reset their piece, so be mindful who you play with because it could cause tension. ... show more

Even my youngest lives to play it. She’s 5 and cannot read the cards. It’s a little difficult for her to play but we go slow. I’m sure she’ll catch on soon. The other girls love it. We adults have fun as well.
