In head to head battle, players search for the enemy’s fleet of ships and aircraft, and destroy them one by one. With convenient portable battle cases and realistic looking naval crafts and planes, the Battleship game puts players right in the middle of the action. Each player announces the coordinates of each strike, and then hopes that it hits. Position ships strategically to survive opponent's relentless strikes, and track hits and misses with red and white pegs on the ocean grid. My kids loved this game digitally so we bought as a way to keep them off their phones a little more. We have a blast playing and the box is much smaller than when I was a child, but the overall quality has definitely gone down. The number on the boards are hard to see, the plastic on the boards is thin. Ours cracked the first day playing. The storage on the sides could be a little larger also as they do not quite fit all the markers so there are extras rolling around inside the main box. ... show more

I feel like my childhood was robbed by never playing this game! We started watching Squid Games The Challenge and I told my husband I’ve never played this game and we immediately bought it and it’s been SO MUCH FUN! Easy to learn how to play and easy to use! I purchased this game for my 5 (almost 6) year old son. We had a lot of fun playing and it brought back memories of me playing as a kid. I will say he is still little young for it but with some help he was able to get it. I think it would be more suitable for 8 year olds.
