I LOVE these. They work great. When I went looking for new shears. All I knew for sure was I did not like the ones I had. While in Bellevue at a hair show, there were several vendors with all kinds of shears. If you had the money, you could spend over $1,000 for a set. A set would include the cutting shears and thinning shears. Sometimes a razor will come with it. Plus, shears come in varying lengths 3.5" to 8" are the longest I have worked with. I worked with a set of swivel shears at the event. They were nice and out of my budget. The biggest expense of shears, in my experience, is where they are made, the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. When I saw these on Amazon, first thing I said was, " Yeah, right." I researched where they were made and about the company. Then I ordered myself a pair. I figured worse comes to worse, I am not out that much money. Let me tell you something, I cut hair everyday. I have not had any issues with these whatsoever. I maintain them properly, treat them as well as they treat me. I do not say this lightly, these are the best pair of shears I have ever used. I HIGHLY recommend these for a professional like myself, or even a really good at home pair. The swivel does take a little to get used to. That will be the only issue, if you have one at all. If the swivel is not your thing, I do believe they make them standard.

Absolutely great cutting shears & thinning shears. Exactly as advertised,very sharp and they csme ina case. Very well worth their price. Overall extremely satisfied with this purchase. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and barber btw.

I love these and use them in the salon everyday. I love the look and the swivel has saved my thumbs! They came very sharp with no nicks or notches so I was very happy about that! The travel case is very soft and sturdy as well so if I ever needed to move them I know they'll be protected. The only issue I had was with the thinning shears. The tension is WAY to tight and will not loosen. The sharpeners haven't come through yet for me to ask them to try to relax it a bit but the thinners are basically unusable because of that

I purchased these in November 2016 and in November 2018 the thumb swivel on the cutting shears broke. However, I am soo pleased to have had 2 years worth of dependable cutting and an extremely sharp edge for the price of $50. The time I was able to use them has been definitely worth that money. If you need new shears but don't have Washi Shears money, get these :)

Bought them for my wife while she was in Cosmo school. That was about 2 yrs ago. They are still razor sharp and she uses them every day. She always get asked about where she got them.

These are cute but I couldn't use them. The thinning shears crunch together and pull the hair, unfortunately. The shears are not the quality I need as a professional. Maybe ok for a beauty school student for their mannequins.
