  • Quality Tarpaulin
Size: 8 X 10-Feet
It's a tarpaulin. It does what a tarpaulin does. It's pretty heavy duty, it's waterproof. I have a bunch of these, and I'm happy with them. I put them under my tent and hammock when I'm camping, I put one on the driveway when i work on the truck or do oil changes. It keeps oil off my driveway, and you can hose it off. It does rip or tear easily. If you put it under your hammock, and you jump outta the hammock, you won't get pine needles on your feet. If it's dark and late and quiet out in the woods, it makes a crinkly sound. If you're barefoot, and you laid the tarp over rocks, it will sting a little when you step on the rocks, but the tarp probably won't rip. Mine don't. So I'm gonna give this here tarp a buncha stars, because it's not a weak little tarp; it's a strong tarp. I use it for tarping, and I'm satisfied. ... show more

  • Great tarp for camping
Size: 10 X 12-Feet
I recently bought this tarp for camping. The size is perfect for hosting a coleman 4 person tent on it (see picture) The tarp is good quality. It is little heavy too. The grommets are useful too for windy conditions. I like the green color as well, it blends well with nature at a campsite ****Edit 9/3/2016*** The tarp is serving me well. As asked by one of the questioners to this review, the size I bought was 10 X 12-Feet. ... show more

  • Not my Dream Tarp but Ok
Size: 14 X 16-Feet
****UPDATE FROM 2020: So, four years later and probably 10 or so more camping trips using this as a ridgeline tarp (see the picture below), I can say the tarps has done decently. No, we take care of it: We dry it, sweep it off, and fold it nicely, and keep it stored in a trailer, inside of a garage, but I would say, we've taken care of it, and it has taken care of us. It has developed a few small holes that we have patched with duct tape. But, the biggest compliment I can pay it is, four years later, with reasonable care for the product, we plan to use it again! I have upgraded my review to four stars First: What kind of freak dreams of tarps? Well, I do, especially when I plan to use the tarp as pictured to provide a wonderful outdoor kitchen/hang out area for when it rains on camping trips. Basically, we needed a tarp that would be large enough to make a decent ridge-line, pole tarped area, heavy enough not to rip in a decent storm, light enough to work on a ridge line........Maybe I am asking for the impossible! Pros: The dimensions of this tarp were perfect. The tarp is a nice color that blends in naturally with campground surroundings. The corners are reinforced. Cons: The tarp IS light for this application. The grommet connecting the tarp to the ridge line ripped if memory serves me correctly on the very first set up (I have since learned how to set it up with less stress). So, in the end, this tarp has made it through about four camping trips, but I have reason to doubt it would withstand a decent thunderstorm due to my experience with the grommet. I wish the product were just a little thicker. ... show more

  • DO NOT USE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT!!!
Size: 10 X 18-Feet
I bought this less than two months ago to use as a cover on my small boat. Already, it has disintegrated into nothing but holes and basically a mesh that falls apart at the touch. It felt strong enough when I put it on the boat, but the sun has obviously baked it to a crisp. I'm in western PA - not the desert, so I would have expected longer life than this. All the tarps I have used in the past have lasted at least a couple of years before this happened. It can't be returned to Amazon after one month. So if you have one check it often in the first month of use. This tarp would probably be fine if you don't expose it to direct sunlight. Use it in the shade and it might last awhile. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere for one with UV protection. ... show more

  • Not Heavy Duty!
Size: 12 X 14-Feet
These tarps ARE NOT Heavy Duty, not even Medium Duty. They are also FAR from a mere 6 inch shy of the size as labeled or As Advertised..! Only the 4 corners are Plastic Double Re-enforced and Not Well at that..! The 12 x 14 I ordered was Far from 11'-6" x 13"-6"... it is more like 10'-11" x 12'-11" ..! You can find these CHEAP Tarps just about Anywhere. The 2 sided Poly Coated is BOLOGNA..! It had holes poked through it by 1/8" rounded smooth metal..! This tarp is Only good for keeping dust off something..! It WILL NOT take any kind of wind unless it was a 5 MPH Breeze..! A WASTE OF $14.00 that a piece of cheap Wall-Mart plastic will work as well - Maybe Better..! ... show more

  • Did not last a single use when tied up
Size: 16 X 20-Feet
I took this tarp to a campsite and intended to use it as an extra layer of protection against rain/humidity over my tent. I used ropes to attach the tarp to surrounding trees. I tied the tarp from the holes in its 4 corners, plus a couple of the holes along the sides. The tarp edges were sustaining only its own weight. I had not placed any heavy material over it. Still, the edges and holes broke and opened up after an hour of use, rendering the product useless. The pictures attached show where the tarp broke. There was *mild* wild, which might have contributed to the failure of the material, but I stress that the tent was not able to support *its own weight* under those conditions. I had purchased this because the manufacturer advertises it as a "reinforced multi-purpose tarp". If you look at the pictures it becomes clear that the reinforcements are weak, the material is very thin and the seams along the edges are of very poor quality. Even the dark, plastic triangles at the corners reveal to be extremely poorly attached to the actual tarp upon close inspection or if you simply pull the tarp from the corner. The material is waterproof and the size was as advertised. If you intend to use this as a layer *under* a tent or as a simple blanket thrown over your stuff, you should be fine. The edges cannot support any actual weight, though, which I think is terribly misleading given the name of the product. ... show more

  • Very good durable tarp
Size: 14 X 16-Feet
I put this over my chicken pen two years ago. It's ready to be replaced now because I can see some small patches of light through it but I'm going to leave it through one more winter because it is still working great. The pen is staying nice and dry through all kinds of weather. Grommets have held up well through winter and summer, I'd say you can't expect better longevity than that. I think this is well worth it. I will buy another one. ... show more
