A robin built a nest in an artificial tree on my covered porch. Great safe place for her family. Not so great on my porch, especially the brick and grout of my front stoop. I didn't want to disturb her, so covered the area to minimize cleanup later. Kept the tarp in place with a few bricks, and was able to watch as she laid an egg each day, then through incubation, hatching, feeding, and the little birds flying away.
