2 stars. One for each month this lasted before gradually falling apart. Those were 2 great months, where my iPad clung or stood wherever it suited me. However, suddenly one of the legs went loose. Your positioning options are now compromised. Then, the other leg went loose, your options start really dwindling. Then you realize you’ve re-tightened main hinge one too many times before it comes loose again and you start yelling at the Joby. As you try to adjust one of the loose legs, half of it simply comes off. Great! On to looking for videos on how to hack the legs and put them back together on YouTube. Gaffer tape. It works! But then, 2 weeks later the other leg comes off. But I know the trick. Gaffer tape! Except this time it’s not meant to be, the fix doesn’t work. It’s a great product idea, I really wanted it to work but it’s poorly produced. Now I’m writing this review on my iPad held by the Joby, and I’m writing diagonally. Hence 3 stars less than what I wanted to give it. Joby. Ask yourselves. What corners have you cut as you scaled production? What crap manufacturer across the globe is building the product with your name on it? Who’s stealing your starts?? I so wanted this to work. This tripod is perfect for my needs. Perspective is everything with small lenses and videoconferencing from a desktop with an iPad puts me in the right perspective with this device. Well constructed and beautifully simple for what it accomplishes. It holds the iPad firmly in landscape and portrait positions. I love this pod! It is durable and easy to use. My iPad does slowly slip out but Ikust have to tighten up the grip and it holds fine. Highly recommend

I loved this for a few months. Now the leg joints are loose and the back leg keeps collapsing. I am very disappointed that it is not very durable.
