This is a handy easy to use hammock. You tie it up to a couple trees and you are ready to go. It is very comfortable and can be washed in the washing machine when it gets a little dirty. Be careful the strings do not get wrapped around things in the washer though. It is colorful enough to accent most any yard as well. Very nice single cotton hammock, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the rope is not as thick as we've seen on items of this nature in the past. It is a single hammock so don't expect it to be wide, but for the price it's a great addition to our back yard and my husband has already gotten his moneys worth in relaxation. ... show more

This is a lovely single hammock. The spreader bars work great and everything seems very sturdy. As with any hammock, but especially a narrower one, be careful getting in or you may get flipped over onto the ground.

    • Looks nice but very tippy.
This is a nice looking hammock, but in practice, it is very hard to use. It is somewhat more narrow than the average, which isn't really bad. The issue comes with the actual design of the product. When you sit in it, because it is narrow, and shorter than many, there is some distance between the end of the hammock and the tree or stand in my case. So it is very very tippy. So tippy that I cannot use it. My kids think it is hilarious because they have to really work at it to get in there. I kind of liken this to that carnival game where you have to climb up the tippy rope ladder and not flip over. Its a challenge. I have it up in the yard anyway, but it gets little use. Its kind of dangerous. I would not want a guest to try to use it. The fabric is basic cotton. It feels nice but in this florida sun it faded in literally 3 days. Its now pink. I suspect it will just kind of dissolve in the sun over the summer. Since it was cheap I didn't expect much as far as durability. In Florida with the sun like it is, most outdoor products are disposable after one season. ... show more

We’ve had two of these for about a year now. We keep them outside all spring and summer long and they’ve held up great. A little sun bleaching, but the strength is still fine. Add a pillow, and you’ve got a comfortable vessel for outside napping!
