Hosted an anything but clothes party for my birthday and bought this to award the person with the most creative outfit. All my friends are lame and wore bed sheets and towels. My wife made a bra and skirt out of ropes. She won the trophy.

I purchased 10 of these a few years ago through Amazon, but I think they came from a different store than the one they list here. Wherever you get them, DO get them! They arrive in their own individual plastic tube. On Halloween I give the trophy (still in its protective plastic tube) to a kid that I think has the best/most original costume for the evening and you should SEE the kid's eyes light up! That alone is worth its weight in gold! THEY ARE SO SURPRISED!!! No matter what is going on in that kid's life, he/she can always look at that trophy sitting on the shelf and be proud they won a trophy! It may be the only trophy he/she ever wins in his/her life. I don't consider this trophy as a toy to be played with. It is to treasure and admire sitting up on a shelf. The design is great and unusual. For the money, this trophy does the job for just a fun award, as is. However, I found it too shiny and flimsy, so I added brushed gold paint, painted the eyes and base, then got scrap pieces from Home Depot and made a more substantial platform. I painted the platform with glitter glue and here’s the end result. I’m very happy with my additions. ... show more

    • Add some weight to the base and makes for a cute award
For the price, it was what I expected, very light plastic, but cool design so I packed the open base with 3 lbs of putty sticks for sticking stuff to the wall to add some gravitas and it made for a nice award.
