REVIEW UPDATE: I was contacted by their customer service. They offered to send me an updated tablet holder for this ring light. I received the updated tablet holder and I've had the chance to use it. It is like a night & day difference. This new holder is strong and stable. It doesn't move when the tablet is placed in it. Way to go!!! So, this item with the improved holder is worth purchasing. Thank you STALLY for making this right and helping turn me into a satisfied customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I made the decision to purchase this item for one reason only, the tablet holder. I have an iPad Mini that is used weekly for a video show & podcast. I needed to add a bit more light. This seemed to be the perfect solution. However, when I place the iPad into the holder, it won't maintain position. The iPad sags no matter how tight I turn the screw on the holder. I can remedy this with some wire to hold the holder where I need it to be. However, I don't feel that I should have to do that. As for the ring light itself, it works as described. All features, brightness and remote are excellent. It was easy to assemble and the stand base seems a bit more solid than other tall stands I've had in the past.

(Updated to 5 stars!!!) The seller reached out to me and offered to send a replacement product, and it arrived working perfectly!! The only downside is the sticker that covers the button controls for the light has a tendency to peel up, so just be careful of that! Otherwise I have no complaints!! very satisfied with the product and the customer service :) Original : I love this product and use it as a tripod for my phone all the time but unfortunately the light ring does not work/works intermittently and then shuts off again. I'm not sure what is wrong with it but it's very disappointing because the tripod construction is awesome I just wish it lit up reliably...

The media could not be loaded. I’ve never seen a tripod with as many versatile attachments as this one, and it’s amazing. I love this tripod so much, and the different light settings on the ring light work perfectly as well! You can adjust the warmth/coolness and brightness of the light, and I can have my iPad and phone set up on it all at once. It’s very convenient. It is a bit of a balancing act though with having the iPad on it. I did notice the attachment isn’t strong enough to hold my iPad up on its own (it falls and points downward to the floor); but I used the mini tripod as an extra support to hold the iPad where I needed it and it works great. My only complaint with this tripod is mine might be possessed? If I leave it plugged in, it’ll randomly turn on! It’s not a bad thing, it just reminds me I need to unplug it after each use I guess.

I needed a ring light that would hold an ipad for a DIY Photo Booth I wanted to create for my daughter’s sweet sixteen. I chose this one because it seemed like it would do what I needed and the price was right. After all, this may never get used again, so I didn’t want to spend $50 or $100 or more. Also, I was a little behind schedule and this was able to arrive in a day. It arrived early, was relatively simple to assemble, functioned as advertised and the party was a success. The remote pairs with your ipad or phone via Bluetooth in ten seconds and allows you to easily snap the photo from in front of the camera. The stand is sturdy enough. Enough is the key word there. This is not a commercial stand. It stayed standing through the party with 15 teenage girls playing with it and adjusting it, kept touching the ipad while it was in the stand holder. But it stayed standing just fine. It is a little wobbly, maybe a little top heavy, but it got the job done at the right price. The light is plastic, so it would likely survive a fall or two but I’m sure the right impact would crack it. But it didn’t fall. The ipad holder kept the ipad secured. And the girls had a lot of fun cycling though all the lighting and color modes. I’ve seen other reviews that describe this as a good low-cost starter light and I would agree with that.

The media could not be loaded. I thought I could use the smaller tripod for makeup/skincare routines for TikTok but no where near eye level at its highest point, very shaky & unstable. The 63” tripod is unstable as well, just make sure you tighten the knobs cuz out of the package it bent backwards & almost fell apart. Ring light is bright and brilliant. It’s just the tripods I’m not thrilled about. I should have spent a little more and gotten better quality item. No where to store remote control! Weight is medium

Don’t waste your money on this ring light I had multiple Issues with it! The feet never wanted to stay in place while I used it on live! The light isn’t very bright and the ring light it’s self broke because it’s not strong enough to hold my iPhone during my live such a waste of money now I have to find another one that is more sturdy and built better! I do not recommend it’s cheaply made! I returned it for a refund! If you do buy it I suggest getting the warranty because it will eventually break on you!

I love my ring light because it provides what I need to do my live shows. The holders work exceptionally well. Especially the tablet holder because the phone holders don't do well because the phones continue to tilt as if they're going to fall out. I don't know if the phone is too heavy or it's truly the holder.
