I just received this dog bowl today. There are breaks on the top part of the metal! My dogs could have seriously cut themselves on the sharp breaks/edges. It also looks as if it had been used. The bottom and sides are dirty!! This is being returned ASAP. Really amazon, this is one of your “Amazon choices”?! ... show more

    • Not a real stainless steel cheap worthless bowl
Review Image by Valerie
Bowl arrived without wrapping dirty in shipping box. Bottom rubber nasty with black film all over. Inside bowl surface showing black undercoat chipped and peeling off. What supposed to be true stainless steel bowl it is actually cheap knock off junk. Do not wast your money and risk your pets. Returning for sure. ... show more

    • Best dog bowl I have used.
C'mon people, it's an edifice for your dog to slobber into, how hard could it be? This product nails it. Thick, nice looking steel feels sturdy. The size/shape are ideal. The rubberized plastic at the bottom it firmly affixed to the bowl and does and excellent job preventing the bowl sliding around (doggy frustrated!), which will be a problem if you use a metal bowl without any kind of anti-slip bottom. NASA couldn't have done this better. And NASA would probably charge $7K per bowl. In those terms, this is a steal yall. ... show more

    • It's a dish, pretty simple...
Review Image by TW|STED
I've personally found these Van Ness dishes to be the best overall value. It's not a terribly technical or complicated piece of equipment, holds food, holds water and cleans very well. I do use a magic eraser on these to help keep off build up from bulldog slobber and drool... If you're reading this review and not in the market for a dog dish, hats off to you for having time in your life to waste. If you're reading this review and truly considering a new dog dish, this is one I'd recommend! Cheers ... show more

    • Defective?
Ordered for extra bowls for our 2 large breed dogs, seemed great when received. Nice size, seemed sturdy, did not scoot across the floor when the boys were eating or drinking. HOWEVER, within 6 weeks one of the bowls started warping and bending - becoming more football shaped than round. The “corners” of the new football shape actually split & were jagged. These were both thrown away & will not reorder. As a side note, these were hand washed. ... show more

    • Mixed Results
We ordered two of these bowls because we have three dogs who drink quite a lot (of water that is) throughout the day! One of the bowls is in fantastic shape; however, the other bowl has already gotten a few rust spots after only 2 months of use. We were disappointed to see that happening so quickly in just one of the bowls when they have been used for the same purposes and amount of time in our home. ... show more

    • Use different stickers…too hard to remove. Otherwise great bowls
They’re water bowls. Seem sturdy. Grip on bottom is good. Three stars because you use regular stickers and it took me 30 minutes to remove it and the glue from the inside of the bowl.

    • Great bowl... but upgrade the STICKER!
Great large bowl for my 2 Akita's water. But I was hoping they had the sticker problem resolved by now. NOPE. Ridiculous. There are so many comments about this sticker problem and it's amazing it's not yet fixed. And it's such an easy thing to fix even if it adds 50 cents to the price. It's made in India and distributed through New Jersey. Not sure which country does this, but FIX THIS!! ... show more
