This honey strainer set works great and makes the filtering process much easier. The mesh is fine enough to get a nice clean result, and it fits well over a 5-gallon bucket. It definitely does what it’s supposed to and has been helpful so far. That said, the material feels a little flimsy, so I’m curious to see how it holds up with regular use. I’ll plan to update this review in a year with how it’s lasting. For now, it’s a useful tool that I’m happy to have, but I’m keeping an eye on durability.

We're still waiting for the first honey harvest of our first year as beekeepers, but we're excited to have this new honey strainer. It's great that it comes with both a 1875-micron top sieve and 650-micron bottom sieve. The package also includes four 120-micron mesh bags for a final ultra-fine strain, if desired. The adjustable retractable arms are the other awesome feature. We'll update our review after our first harvest, hopefully with a video of the process. At $21.99, this is a great value, especially since it also includes a very nice hive tool as an extra gift.

The strainer works well and fits easily over my 5 gallon bucket. I've never used filter bags to strain my honey, and it didn't occur to me until after I was done to use them to filter my cappings bucket - usually I just use cheesecloth, but next time I harvest honey, I'll give these a try instead. The hive tool is not the type I prefer; its certainly sturdy enough and the same size as my other tools, but the bevel edge is really dull and I prefer tools that have the bevel on both sides and this only has one side.

Pretty standard mesh metal strainer and really identical two half a dozen I currently own. Everything looks good and feels like it should - no manufacturing issues or bad parts. This kit comes with a hive tool and 6 mesh strainer bags for extra fine honey straining. Overall a decent value for the set if it includes things you will use (I can always use more hive tools... I definitely never lose them).

Works well and has a super fine mesh so the honey does move pretty slow. It gets all the small bits out quite well. Sits on the bucket well. I do wish the wires were a little sturdier that holds it on the bucket. Also it does get clogged fairly easily but that’s to be expected and is easily fixed

This turned out to be super useful for other things besides beekeeping. The fine mesh bags are great for straining homemade nut milks, juices, wine making and even cold brew coffee. I will use them for filtering herbal teas and broths the ultra-fine mesh catches everything while still letting liquid flow through quickly. The stainless steel holder is sturdy with pull out handles, so it fits nicely over a 5-gallon bucket or large pot, which makes it hands free and much easier than trying to hold a bag while pouring. The drawstring keeps everything secure, and cleanup will be quick. Even if you’re not a beekeeper, this is a handy kitchen and home tool for anyone who makes their own drinks, broths, or herbal infusions.
