This kit provides a good assortment of nuts and bolts for the price. The pieces are well machined and have no metal burrs or sharp edges. The storage box has them separated by size, and that is helpful. The whole kit is rather light, though, so you might want to set it inside a cardboard box or something more sturdy if you have kids running around where you're working. I don't think my robotic vacuum would ever forgive me if these got knocked off on to the floor.

These kits are just the best thing ever to add to your home hardware DIY box of tricks. If you own a home, stuff is going to break and that's a part of life. If you are on a tight budget you need to learn to DIY the fixes. Hubby and I pride ourselves on being able to fix most minor repairs. He jokes with friends that the reason he fell in love with me was because my toolbox was better than his. Now our combined toolbox is better than most tradesmen. Most problems are predictable so it's easy to have parts on hand ready to use without having to go to the hardware store. This kit has all the common small bolt sizes 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8. The stainless steel will prevent them from rusting if you need to use the bolts outside in the weather. The little plastic box is sturdy and keeps everything separated and in its own compartment. These kits of mixed nuts and bolts all in separate compartments ready to use are the best invention ever. Add one to your DIY toolbox ASAP.

I am traveling and needed a few bolts for a project I was doing. I ordered this set, and it had the sizes and different pieces of hardware I needed. The threads are clean and free of burrs. I wish the case was a little bigger to allow me to sort the hardware a bit better, but it suffices.

Exceptional nice kit and value for the $. I am sure if you are here looking you probably know the challenge of searching through piles of spare bolts and nuts or worse yet not having on hand at all... This kit solves all the problems and then some. Excellent quality nuts and bolts. Organized effectively in a plastic case. Sure if you are in and out of it all the time I suspect the case wont hold up but the occassional all good and really your not buying this for teh plastic case though its nice. Just so nice having a handy compact kit available when the need arises. A+ for quality, convenience, and time saver.

Item description: 246 ct assorted hex head SST bolts, washers, nuts set Brand: Aidebr Item: B0D844246R Date received: 2024-07-07 Headline - Great for repairs, quantity covers far more of the smaller sizes; storage box of poor durability Product Claims 246 ct, SST hex head SAE screw, nut, washer assortment (1/4-in, 5/16-in, 3/8 inch) in a plastic divider box I received exactly what was claimed in the product description. The item arrived in a padded envelope within another padded envelope, but unfortunately (I've observed this to be a common result with hardware shipped in plastic boxes) even that amount of padding was not enough to prevent the nice plastic divider box that this assortment was packed into from being terminally crushed, to the point there was no part of it that was saveable except for the cell dividers. Fortunately, a) all the individual items were separately packed in zipper-closure plastic bags, and b) I had another spare plastic divider box of a different type to put these into. Quantity: Screws, flat washer, lock washers, nuts 10 1/4"-20 x 3/4" 10 1/4"-20 x 1" 8 1/4"-20 x 1-1/2" 6 1/4"-20 x 2" (1 spare each of the washers/nuts) =34*4+3 =139 8 5/16"-18 x 3/4" 4 5/16"-18 x 1" 4 5/16"-18 x 1-1/2" 4 5/16"-18 x 2" (1 spare each of the washers/nuts) =20*4+3 =83 4 3/8"-16 x 1-1/2" 2 3/8"-16 x 2-1/2" (no spares of washers/nuts in the 3/8" diameter) =6*4 =24 Total: 246 There is no certification provided for the hardware or material, however each of the screw hex heads are marked "304" on the face, indicating 304 stainless steel. Since the divider box was advertised as a central part of this item, I have to take off a point for it's lack of durability given the way the item was packaged.
