Correction/update: I did not chose the polycarbonate table option after all. Having received a table with a white top surface, I thought that I'd ordered a polycarbonate table, but the white surface turned out to be a thin film that protects the stainless steel surface beneath it. The film adhered to the stainless so well that I didn't realize it could be pealed off until a few days ago. The scratches I noted in my original review were evident in the film, however, they were not deep enough to materially damage the stainless steel surface. Due to my mistake, I'm upgrading my original 4-star review to a 5-star (I'm still not impressed with the wheel brakes, but they do work, to a degree). At the time of my order, there was a less expensive work table offered with a white, polycarbonate top surface (instead of stainless steel), which is what I purchased and what I am reviewing. The table arrived with no visible damage to the shipping materials. However, there are about 10 relatively shallow scratches in that top surface and around the sides of that top shelf, ranging in size from 1/8” to about 1”. Also, the wheel brakes/locks work, but not well. The levers to engage them, whether engaged by hand or foot, are a bit flimsy and require multiple attempts to secure. Once engaged, not much pressure is required to move the table 2-3” (e.g. a moderate bump by your hip, a one-handed moderate push or pull). Still, the table is plenty sturdy (I put a little more than 100lbs on the top shelf, with no sign of strain whatsoever, plus 30lbs on the bottom shelf). Without the wheel brakes engaged, the table rolls easily and smoothly. It was also no trouble to assemble. Delivery and packaging were both acceptable, and as expected. Aesthetics were not important to me, and the table will always sit on a level floor, so I did not require robust braking. A stainless steel top surface was not required either. Overall, the table is not free of defects, but the price was right for my purposes.

Table seems strong, arrived with one small dent in the edge of the lower shelf which was not even bad enough to try to fix. The protective cover was a beast to remove but kept the surface looking great. The table scratches easy but with this type of table I expected this. It looks great in my kitchen and I love it.

No dents or scratches at all. Easy to assemble. Bottom shelf can be adjust in height as it is held by set screws and works just fine. I have at least a 150 pounds on it and not an issue at all. Works perfectly in my kitchen and arrived very quickly (1 day).

If you've worked in a professional kitchen, you understand what a high-quality prep table looks and feels like. You can hit them hard with a hammer and only leave a small scratch. THIS, isn't that. This is sturdy enough to be practical for occasional or lite use. Perfect for some prep space by my BBQ on my deck, so I'm happy with it, and it's definitely WAY lower cost than commercial equipment, so as long as you know what you're getting this could be a very good fit.

The product arrived and when I opened the box, the top section was scratched and marred. First of all it was a heavy package for an older person to manuver, and then to open the box and find damaged product was not only sad but insulting. I think Stablelink should immediately look into their practices with clients because so far they suck...to knowingly ship a damaged product to a customer speaks volumes about the company. The company can respond it they are up to it.

This is a great size. Ours arrived without a scratch and was very easy to put together. You can use them anywhere for extra prep space in the kitchen, and they just as easily can be moved and be fashioned into a beverage bar for larger parties.
