This is only brand I use. Excellent quality. Which is why it’s bit pricey. Goes on very well. Use a nice soft tan mitt to apply or nitrile gloves. Smooths nicely great coverage an instant tan that you control. If you want but deeper color just add another coating. No rancid odor. Does not rub off on clothes and dries pretty much instantly and I don’t get streaks. Washes off in shower. I’ve noticed if I’ve used repeatedly on many days — a vacation or extended time in summer that it does give a slight hint of tan even after showering, but not in bad way. Just a nice glow. Use a shower scrub if you’ve been using a lot and want to remove. love the healthy glow I get from this since I lived in a winter climate .

As a very pale person, this gives me a really nice golden glow. One application is subtle, so it's buildable. Very convincing color and EXTREMELY even application. I don't really have to worry about ankles, elbows, or feet looking funny with this one. I moisturize with a regular lotion first, then apply with vinyl gloves instead of the mitt, because I suspect the mitt would use a lot of extra product. With the price of this stuff, I conserve where I can. That being said, one bottle has lasted 4-5 applications so far, and it's about halfway full now. Still waaay cheaper and easier than getting a spray tan. Cons: This stuff still has that self tanner smell when developing - - never believe them when they say there's no smell. And you will feel sticky. Best to do around bedtime and rinse it off in the morning. The bronzer in the lotion will get on your clothes. Those are the only downsides.

Such a great product! Easy to apply, and easy to see where you’ve applied the product. I always exfoliate my elbows, knees, and ankles beforehand, and I've never noticed any streaks or patchiness with this product! Absolutely love and recommend!

I finally have the tan I've always wanted. This Bronzing Lotion gives me a warm brown that has people asking me where I went on vacation. It's that natural. I apply it with my hands and there are NO STREAKS. Just wash your hands very quickly. This lotion gives instant color and it has no foul smell. I use it twice a week to keep up the tan. Also, this does not rub off on clothes as much as the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse did. It also seems less drying, but I do use a body moisturizer after it "sets" awhile. I really prefer this St. Tropez Bronzing Lotion to the Mousse which I have been using for the past two years. I realize that people have very different reactions to self tanners, and I've tried a lot of them, but for me this is the best one so far.

I have used many products for tanning over the years, but nothing beats St. Tropez. The result is natural looking and not the least bit orange. I wear laytex gloves to apply the lotion and blend it well on my legs, arms, and chest. Make sure you have your skin moisturized with a good lotion or cream before applying the tanning lotion. It has a very pleasant smell and doesn’t rub off on clothes if you allow it to dry completely. You only need a small amount to apply for best results.

Shocked that it worked so well. I am pasty white. Full stop. It was a bit unnerving when it came out of the container dark. I carried on with the application. I’m adventurous like that. . Within a few hours had a golden tan. Just tan enough to not scare the elderly and small children. I searched for something after the discontinued Mega Tan. I found it here.

So I bought the lotion of St. Tropez instead of the mouse. I've seen and heard alot about how great this brand is so I sucked it up and spent the money.. Let me say, the color comes out amazing but the application part of it SUCKS!! It takes me almost an hour to rub it in and smooth out wherever I'm trying to blend. I feel extremely greasy/oily after I put it on. Again I wasn't paying attention and somehow bought the lotion, not the mouse like I wanted, so maybe the mouse is better. But I don't know if I'm even willing to spend money on another expensive bottle from this brand when the process of putting it on is almost not worth it. Super disappointed, would not recommend!!
