Rod delivered in heavy tubing and bubble wrapped. Was a little concerned after reading the reviews but it looks great and the eye's are double footed as the photos show..can't wait to use it!

Despite what some said, the rod arrived in great packing… a heavy duty cardboard tube. The rod is light, balanced and a great color. I’m looking forward to using it for catching stripers!

    • Eyelets are not two footed like the picture shows

I specifically bought this rod because the picture shows that it has two footed eyelets. The rod I received has one footed eyelets and as usual I had to bend several of them to get them to where they should be. Probably not a big deal but that was the main reason I bought this rod.

I have about a dozen inshore rods, I own two triumph rods, and they are my favorite. I have some that are less expensive and some that are more expensive, but of all the rods I have tried these are my favroites.

I was disappointed to hear that the tidemaster line of rods was discontinued but I found out that this new inshore series used the same blanks and I decided to give it a try, feels light and solid, good backbone and similar feel to the tidemaster series.
