I fish for Pompano, Spotted Sea Trout, Red Drum, FLounder and Spanish Mackerel and the 7'6" MH rod paired with a Van Staal VS100XP using 20lb braid is the master of all those fish. They bow down and thank you for using such a beautiful set up.

    • Eyelets are not two footed like the picture shows

I specifically bought this rod because the picture shows that it has two footed eyelets. The rod I received has one footed eyelets and as usual I had to bend several of them to get them to where they should be. Probably not a big deal but that was the main reason I bought this rod.

I was disappointed to hear that the tidemaster line of rods was discontinued but I found out that this new inshore series used the same blanks and I decided to give it a try, feels light and solid, good backbone and similar feel to the tidemaster series.

I have about a dozen inshore rods, I own two triumph rods, and they are my favorite. I have some that are less expensive and some that are more expensive, but of all the rods I have tried these are my favroites.
