It turns my trammel for washing dirt, looking for gold at the perfect speed. It doesn't need to turn fast, but with the gear in the picture, it works perfect. The motor seems to be made of quality components and seems to have plenty of power without straining. I would recommend it for anyone needing a slow moving motor for an auger or anything else.

I was a little bit concerned to begin with, because this little motor costs a lot and I really wanted it to work. Well I opened up the back of my smoker and finally was able to unattached the old motor that had locked up and quit running. Getting a clear line to the old motor where I could actually start removing it was the only tricky part. Once I actually got it taken out everything else went fairly smoothly. I installed this new little bugger and fit pretty much just right. It's a little bit bigger in diameter then my old motor so I I'm unable to fully lock down the plate that had to take off to get to the motor. That's okay though I got it fixed where it's fairly well sealed off and my smoker stays in the shelter so I don't have to worry about water getting to it. This new motor functions really well. It runs the auger just fine without any noise, I don't have one bit of trouble out of it. It always keeps the pellets where they need to be as long as I keep the hopper filled up. I think that this motor is a little high-priced. I would like to see it at a lower cost, but it does do what it's supposed to do and it's a whole lot cheaper than buying a new smoker if you're only problem is that your auger motor is locked up on you. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.
