I ordered 2 of these bookshelves and was impressed with the quality: no chipping or damage to any of the pieces. They were easy to put together and pretty sturdy. However, the hardware didn't include extras of some pieces, and I received one incorrect piece. I had to email the company and they sent me a new set of hardware, but it did take 2 weeks to arrive which was a little frustrating.

I bought 3 of this type and 2 other types from a different manufacturer. The other was extremely disappointing (reviewed separately) versus the IRONCK shelving. The IRONCK shelves are really set up for DVDs, and every other shelf is fixed so it isn't very flexible. But since I bought it to store DVDs (augmenting my collection of old -- now unavailable -- IKEA shelving), that was just fine with me. It is described as a "Compact Corner Bookcase" -- but I didn't really get the "Corner" part. It was just a shelving unit targeted at DVD storage as far as I can see. The instructions were excellent. All the parts were well described and fit together perfectly (though I didn't really understand the little plastic clips that screw in to strengthen the back panels -- but installed them dutifully anyway). Starting from the back panels, they are thin particleboard with the fake wood veneer on both sides. They slide into grooves in both the sides and lowest shelf of each of the two vertical sections resulting in a very solid result and unlike many of these types of shelves the unit looks great from both the front and back. No exposed particle board edges. The shelves and sides are more solid than the other type I assembled -- though not quite as thick as my older IKEA units. They have a good feel to them though. The hardware is particularly impressive. No nails to hold on a cardboard back -- just the mechanical groove connection and the plastic widgets to make the back particularly solid and unlikely to detach from the grooves if the unit were to flex under an excessive load. The large-sized screws that secure the sides to the fixed shelves have a shank that reinforces the holes in the boards -- a cool detail I haven't seen before. The locking hardware to secure the two vertical units together is very solid looking and reinforced by wooden dowels. There are rubber feet that adhere to the bottom of the unit to cushion it on the floor. Not sure how well these would allow it to slide around on a wooden floor -- but seem to be a good idea to protect the carpet I am placing these on. Next time I buy any of this kind of shelving (for DVDs, bookcases, or other uses) I will definitely look at going with this manufacturer again. That I had the other manufacturer's product to compare to reinforce my positive impression of IRONCK (which were the ones I had assembled first). I only bought the second type so I had somewhat larger shelves and now wish I had known how good the IRONCK units were and had looked instead at finding something suitable from IRONCK instead.

This bookcase is great when you don't have a lot of space. Assembly instructions are simple to follow. Product is strudy and well made. The shelves are adjustable to suit book sizes. My only con is that when I assembled the top to the bottom, there is a small gap on both sides towards the back. So the front of the bookcase looks great, but the back has a small gap between the top piece and the bottom piece. So whem I push it up against the wall, but bottom is flush to the wall, but the top isn't. I tried to adjust it, but is just wouldn't go all the way down. The bookcase is still sturdy, and the anchor kit it comes with helped.

Love this bookshelf. Fit perfectly in the narrow corner of my living room. I use it for board games. It was the easiest thing to put together. Took me about 10 minutes once I understood how it went together. I was shocked at how much it could hold. The only thing I wish is that it balanced better with the pads underneath it. I took off the pads and it stabilized just fine. Definitely not as tall as I thought it would be and I'm 5'0" but still does the trick.

Super easy instructions and comes with a multitool to assemble certain pieces. When assembling it, you’ll do it in two parts and then connect them to make the bookshelf stand tall. This can make it a little wobbly if you use it a lot unless you use the hook/screw combo it comes with to attach it to the wall. I didn’t because I like to move things around. It also comes with 6 different boards to customize the size/how much shelving space you want. The smaller sections are as small as you can make the spaces. You use little silver fittings to put in the boards and they’re very easy to take out for rearranging. Very functional. The bookshelf itself is over 6 ft tall but less than a foot wide. I love the color and it comes with stickers to hide the screw holes so it looks more sleek.

I do not leave reviews, but I was genuinely impressed with this company and their bookshelves, and I am all too happy to share my experience. Even the name of the company is kind of cool (IRONCK). Ironic, LOL. The shelves were easy to assemble, the quality is not stellar, but it is good quality. The packaging is good too. Not too large and not too heavy. Good for transporting. Not only that, I ordered from them twice and both times, the product arrived early. They included extra hardware pieces in case anything gets lost, which is something I almost never see with furniture companies. They also included not just an Allen key, but a surprisingly decent screwdriver as well. Small things like this show they actually care about their customers and the overall experience. Very happy with my purchase and would absolutely order from them again.
