It senses someone coming into the room and opens by itself. When you step away, it closes and flushes. The spray and drying can be controlled with the remote. You select the appropriate spray or fan and click the square button to stop the function. The seat and water temp have a minimum setting of 86 degrees, like bath water, so there will never be a cold water surprise. It’s lovely! My husband’s thoughts: It works beautifully! No leaks or glitches, the remote is linked, the bidet functions are pleasant, and the deodorizer function actually works. Come winter, I think the warmed seat will be really nice! Installation was far easier than I anticipated: 1 Turn off the water supply to the bathroom 2 Remove the old toilet 3 Replace the existing cutoff valve in the bathroom with the included two-headed T-valve. (This is a compression nut deal you do with two wrenches) 4 Place the “wax” sealing flange on the hole (a helpful template is provided) 5 Hook the battery up inside the back of the toilet 6 Place the toilet on the sealing flange (a helpful template is provided) and put in the mounting bolts 7 Hook up the two water connections to the new T-valve 8 Plug it in and turn the power on! You will need two crescent wrenches, a little plumbers putty, and a screwdriver to put the remote on the wall. I may buy another one for the master bath, it should take no more than an hour to put it in!

The media could not be loaded. Wow, this toilet is a game changer for me. I always wondered what a smart toilet was like... Now I know. This thing looks good, is easy to wipe clean on the outside and cleans itself on the inside. So easy to set up and use unless you live in a very old house, then it is still pretty easy with a few adjustments :-). This toilet was definitely worth the money spent on it and I am trying to convince the hubby to get a second one for upstairs.

All functions work wonderfully. Super impressed with the powerful flush – it’s like a tornado followed by a power washer. We have old plumbing and low water pressure, but thanks the bulit-in tank this thing just works. Customer service even walked me through install at midnight – legends!
