My above average sized 2.5 yo son immediately took ownership of this bad boy. He loves his huge squishmallow pillow and stackables. We spend a lot of the time on the floor, and we have hard wood. If my son is not curled up in it eating snacks and watching cartoons, I'm using it as a floor cushion that perfectly covers my feet, protects my ankles and keeps my legs off the cold floor. I highly recommend! If you have a mid size dog, get a large or even bigger size. The thickness is perfect, the color is bright and the slip resistance is exceptional. Got this bed for my puppy and she absolutely loves it! Her big brother has even found ways to make it suit him, lol. I do wish it had a zippered cover so you could wash it, but spot cleaning has worked so far. As a reference my puppy is currently 10.5 lbs and she still fits comfortably since she likes to curl up some and rest her head on the sides. Will probably size up to a large if she gets much bigger just so she has space to stretch out. We definitely recommend it! ... show more

I was so tired of the big ugly crates that my dogs only go into when they're ready to go to bed. They took up a lot of room and I was just over it. My dog likes it! She's 16 and we got her an orthopedic bed, however she didn't like sleeping in it. My guess is that it was too firm. This squishmallows bed seems to be perfect, not too soft, not too firm. She seems to sleep well in and willingly gets in when we're getting ready for bed instead of laying down next to it.
