This is the camera you buy when you need long battery life and you don’t want to have to deal with solar or you want to place it deep in the woods where not much sun is available. I love this camera, the image quality is top notch and the battery lasts forever. I’ve had mine in the field for three months and still 60% on the first battery tray. Second tray hasn’t even been used yet. The value is on par if not better than anything else on the market and the app makes the camera very simple setup and easy to use. As long as you have the firmware up to date, the camera will work without any issues. The good thing about this model is you can update the firmware remotely through the app so there’s no hassle. I also have several flex Ms which I also recommend, but if you need extended battery life, this is the camera to get. I just use simple Amazon basics alkaline batteries.

These are great cameras, and they give you some flexibility and control when being used on remote property or locations. The images are excellent. The IR flash works great. Trigger speed for me is not an issue. The app could be better. Whether using the phone app or the computer app, changes do not take immediately. Some changes in the app don't take effect for a full day (or more), so expect there to be a learning curve to the initial setup. Even in Instant mode, you will likely not get a picture immediately. I learned to set the detection sensitivity to low and detection time to 1 hour for 1 picture to start with so I would not blow through my free pictures on blowing leaves or grass. Then turn down the picture delay time or turn up the number of pictures when you are sure you are not getting false trips. Give them some time and the cameras do work great!

Bought this camera to put in my hunting spot about 80 miles away. Seems like every two or three days. I’m having to go down and reset it because it freezes up called support. They can’t do anything about it so now I have to drive down there again to turn it off and turn it back on, no given as to why the problem is, but it’s getting annoying. Don’t know it’s just my experience. This has been the experience of others, but this is a pain in the butt. I am not very pleased with it when I go down this time I will be taking it up and sending it back .

Its been in the woods for two months in an area with obscure cell service. I was worried, but it has strong signal and transmits consistently. I've seen a delay a couple times, but nothing significant. Pictures are clear day and night. Trigger seems good. The app is user friendly but it should included all the features with the cell packages. This is one reason I didn't rate 5 star. You have to join a club or something to get all the features. I think the cell packages are too expensive, $15 / month for unlimited. Therefore I am taking off one star. I have to admit this is my first cell camera so I don't have a good comparison.

The media could not be loaded. I have quite a few Spypoint devices and I was recently looking for a way to be able to run Instant Mode indefinitely. The Flex-S has Instant Mode but in my testing it would slowly drain the internal battery when left on Instant Mode. When Spypoint released the Flex they did so with it having the Instant Mode available. I picked one up and attached a solar/battery panel and put it in the field. So far it has been on Instant Mode for a couple months without draining the solar pack at all. I like being able to use Instant Mode to request photos on a trail I have had trespasser issues on previously. If I get a photo of someone off in the distance a bit, I can request another photo to see where they are headed. Even if they are out of the detection range. It also means I can request HD photos and videos and have them back within a few seconds. Another nice feature when trespassers are around my cameras. This camera is my second one as I liked the first one so much. I have the same solar setup for this one and it has been running well for over a week. This one is sitting on a food plot and I use Instant Mode to check the food plot before I walk into it. This should be helpful come season. If you want Instant Mode this is the method I would use. It gives you the best bang for the buck. The photos I have attached are not the HD photos. These are only the thumbnails this camera sends back. I will likely be buying one more for a second food plot I have.

Set up was super simple through the spypoint app. Love the addition of the second battery tray to literally double the battery life, that’s definitely going to come in handy. I’m a big fan of solar panels for cameras lately but there’s lots of great spots for cameras that don’t get the ideal sunlight for a solar panel. The FLEX-PLUS definitely solves that problem! With twice the battery life and amazing image and video quality you can truly set this camera and forget about going back out to it until it’s time to hunt or you’re ready to move it. Will definitely be picking up some more of these for those hard to get to spots that you only make it out to a few times a year, and now without worry about battery life

I love this model in the flex line up. It has all the functions of the solar model (like instant mode) but is a cheaper option yet it has double the battery capacity so it can be left in hard to reach areas or areas you don't want to disturb often. Like the other flex series models this camera holds up to dependability and quality as well! I have two of these guys so far paired with two of their lithium battery packs and have yet to touch them all summer!

My camera is a long hike to change the batteries when needed. I went with the battery packs and it has extended the life by 10 times verses using AA's. Camera takes great pictures and now the batteries last the season for me.
