Bought this as a game cam, easy set-up and really like the 'Test" feature. The 1st 100 photos are free, good opportunity to evaluate and pick what plans work best. This model's new, my other 2 are like 3 years old and still problem free.

I am pretty disappointed in this product. I really expected more based upon what they advertised and claimed. I bought a two pack of the G-36 cameras and both cameras do not function as Spypoint claims. I would understand if one camera wasn't functioning properly, but the likelihood of both cameras malfunctioning is less likely. They don't transmit photos and miss a lot of shots! When set to immediate and standing 20' directly in from of the camera (both cameras) they either missed the shots completely (mostly this) and when they did get the photo they took from 10 minutes to hours later to transmit to the app. They have been checked and updated by Spypoint, but still don't function correctly. They have 90% service, 100% battery power, and the sd cards are formatted properly and are Spyoint provided cards. I am also very disappointed in the service. I spent 50 minutes in the help center with no resolution other than they were going to update the firmware and it would take 24 hrs. It felt like I was not a priority to them throughout the entire support service chat and they were not helping me only. Each response or interaction in our chat was 5 to 10 minutes apart. I bought these cameras and spent a little more on them because they claimed to be a superior product and great support, but that is not what I have experienced. I would not recommend these cameras to anyone based on my personal experience with this product. Maybe I did get two bad cameras, but all I can comment on is my personal experience, which wasn't good.

I’ve been using the SPYPOINT Flex G-36 Camo for a while now, and it’s hands-down one of the best trail cameras I’ve ever owned. First off, the battery life is impressive. I’ve had it set up in the field for weeks at a time, checking it less frequently than I’ve had to with other cameras. Even with heavy use, the battery holds up like a champ. It’s a relief not having to worry about the camera going dead in the middle of a scouting season. The image and video quality are top-notch. With 36 megapixels and 1080p video (with sound!), it captures everything in sharp detail, whether it's a big buck or a curious raccoon. The audio is clear too, which is a nice bonus for reviewing the clips. The trigger speed is lightning fast at 0.3 seconds. I’ve yet to miss any action on the trails or at feeding spots, which is crucial when you’re trying to pattern deer movement. The 100-foot detection and flash range mean I get great coverage, even at night, with clear and well-lit night shots. Durability-wise, this camera can take a beating. It’s been through rain, wind, and freezing temps, and it hasn’t skipped a beat. The camo finish is a great touch for blending into the environment. The cellular feature is a game-changer. The SPYPOINT app is user-friendly, and getting instant updates on my phone keeps me from having to make unnecessary trips to the woods. It’s a huge time-saver, especially with a busy schedule. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality trail camera that can handle all kinds of conditions and keep you in the loop without constant check-ins, the SPYPOINT Flex G-36 Camo is worth every penny. Easy setup, great cellular reception, quick alerts, excellent strap. The removable battery compartment is high quality and makes it easy to change batteries. 1 week of use and 400 pictures taken and the cameras’ batteries are still at 100%. The Spypoint App is well designed and provides the ability to change settings, sensitivity, photo to video, but it makes you go to the website to change cellular plans. This is a well made product, but images could be a lot better. Night time photos are decent but daytime photos are subpar in my opinion compared to my non-cellular trail cams. The sensor is quick, and detects animals in wooded areas up to 100 feet but the image quality makes it difficult to determine what it when it’s out that far. It has a Species identification system but you have to pay an additional $99 a year to use it for anything other that “Buck”, which is not worth it given it can’t tell the difference between a buck and a doe at 40 feet. Overall, Im rating it a 4 because it’s a great value for the money; much less expensive than other cellular trail cams and the cellular service is anywhere from FREE (250 Pics monthly) to $15 monthly (Unlimited Pics); note that this is per camera. They work great for what I need them to do so I bought another Twin pack.

I got these for my dad for Christmas. We’ve had so many animals around our farm, so my dad wanted these to take pictures and hear the sounds. I love how these ones specifically pick up sounds, tell you when there’s movement. The picture quality is really clear and it is motion detected, which is awesome. You can see in the night, the camera adjust the filter or something, where things are super visible. The battery lasts a long time, which is awesome, as we’re not always in that area.
