This chandelier looks very lovely in my entry door foyer! I was hoping that the door didn’t bump it when opened and the light is up just high enough that the door doesn’t bump it. It gives off a pretty decent amount of light too. I love the cross design and the way it makes my foyer look so nice.

Stylish andWe purchased this Sputnik chandelier to update our dining room, and overall, it’s a great addition. The design is clean and modern, with a brushed gold finish that adds warmth without being overly flashy. It has a nice visual presence—interesting without dominating the room. Installation and Assembly: Assembly was manageable, though it does take a bit of time. The instructions were fine, though not overly detailed. The arms need to be attached and adjusted, but once it's up, everything feels secure. Standard ceiling mount, and the wiring is straightforward if you’re comfortable with basic installations. Build and Appearance: The fixture feels sturdy and decently constructed for the price. The adjustable arms are a nice feature, allowing for some customization to suit the space. Once adjusted, they hold their position well. It’s a good size for a dining room and would also work in a kitchen or office with average ceiling height. Lighting and Functionality: It takes six E26 bulbs—plenty of light for the space. We used dimmable LED bulbs, which work well. Since the bulbs are exposed, it’s worth investing in attractive ones (like frosted or Edison-style) to complete the look. The overall lighting effect is even and functional, and dimming adds versatility. This chandelier is a solid, stylish option at a reasonable price point. I have been longing for a Sputnik light fixtures for YEARS...just have never really found the right place in the house for it. Due to an unfortunate water damage accident, we had to replace a bunch of drywall and molding in the ceiling of our front hall. Bummer about the damage, but this was my chance! I stumbled across this fixture, and was immediately SMITTEN. It's a total showstopper—seriously so great-looking and my husband verified that it's sturdy once it’s up. It adds such a cool, mid-century modern vibe to the room, and the light it throws off is perfect after we found some amber Edison bulbs. That being said, the wiring situation is a bit of a mess. My husband was not thrilled with me when I asked him to put it up. Each of the six lights has two wires, plus the ones to connect to the ceiling, and trying to wrangle all those in the tight space provided isn’t the easiest task. Took some patience to get it hooked up right. Still, once it’s done, it’s worth it—looks amazing and feels solid! It's so gorgeous and I am over the moon with it!

Our kitchen originally had a three-light small fixture right at the ceiling, and lighting was woefully inadequate for cooking. No matter where you stood, it was dim and you were casting your own shadow over whatever you were trying to prepare. Well, no more! This is a fantastic contemporary / modern fixture. It's just weird enough to be fun and to draw conversation -- our kids love it! For us, though it's mostly functional. Combined with some large LED bulbs, this thing really throws out some light. with the lights down from the ceiling just a little bit, it gives you not only direct light but also allows for reflected light off of the ceiling. That improves the overall brightness of our kitchen, and the way the fixture places the bulbs really helps cut down on shadows, making it a much more functional improvement as well as cosmetic. Pics are attached. Installation was easy if you have basic DIY skills -- you don't really even need a tool beyond a basic screwdriver or two. (Be sure to throw the breaker before working on anything electrical -- shocks are no fun.) I was able to remove the old light fixture and install this one in less than twenty minutes. My wife is happy, my kitchen is bright. This is a huge win -- it gets my highest recommendation!

You are only buying the metal rods and junction box attachment. To get what you see in the picture you have to special order large G40 E26 style bulbs. You can likely find them in home depot but not usually in your local hardware store.
