  • Absolutely Amazing
Style: Dishwasher
I absolutely hate doing the dishes. It's bad enough you have to figure out what to eat every single day, but to have to do the dishes every time you cook/eat something? The worst. This little machine is most likely the best investment I have ever made for my home. I live in an apartment with no built-in dishwasher and not much countertop space, so when I first saw the dimensions it was a bit risky to purchase. It would wind up taking up the exact amount of space I had on the counter next to my sink, but I hate dishes so much I figured might as well. As far as I'm concerned it absolutely earned that spot. It can have it. It cleans dishes super well, I even put it through some stress tests to see how much I had to rinse off the dishes beforehand. Provided you get the big chunks off and know how to load a dishwasher, this thing cleans with ease and can take a pretty big load (hol' up). Installation is easy as long as you have the proper spout on your sink, so check before hand as well as the dimensions of the location you'd be putting it. Let's go through the pros and cons: Pros: -Powerful machine for its size -Easy to install -Easy to clean filter -Pretty dang quiet Cons: -Still fairly large, get out the tape measure and measure the spot before you buy. (I've also heard some people will put it on a rolling cart and wheel it out when they need it) -Rack cut outs take some getting used to (read the directions) -Sometimes hard to load, would be better if the rack could slide out more. -Back ports can leak if not properly tightened. More on the back ports. So for the first month I had it it ran wonderfully with no issues, until one time I noticed a small amount of water starting to pool around it it after a use. I paused the machine and looked at the back and felt that the one of the nuts had worked a little loose. Now this is because of the nature of hooking/unhooking the connection up to the sink, then storing it, then hooking it up again, etc. Eventually it had just started to slightly loosen the connection in the back. When I first installed everything I had only tightened these ports to be fairly snug. But after the leak, I really cranked those mamma jammas and haven't had a problem for the last 5 months. It's just something to keep in mind and maybe check every once in a while. Now my home life has improved significantly. Rather than spending hours and hours every week standing at the sink hating my life, I simply load up the dishwasher in a few min then go back to doing my favorite thing in the whole world. Doing nothing. It's amazing and well worth the investment if you do not have the space for a full size. ... show more

  • Six months later and I am still very satisfied with it, though not perfect.
Style: Dishwasher
I always felt that the one thing missing in my apartment was a dishwasher, so for my birthday last year I decided to look and see if such a thing as countertop dishwashers existed, thank you Amazon! Note that I live alone, but I do cook all my meals. First of all, I did a lot of research, and other brands are the same dishwasher, they just have different faces so to speak (if you download the instruction manual you’ll see what I mean). This was the least expensive of them at the time of purchase, I was lucky that I was able to use it with my designer faucet, that could be a problem for some people. If you have a basic kitchen faucet this should work. The connection is not leakproof, but it’s not a continuous drip either. For me it was a breeze to set up, put it on the kitchen counter next to the sink, plug it in, it has worked like a dream. You’ll need an extra couple of inches if you wanna hide the tubing behind the machine. This is a mostly stainless interior, the rack could be better, I’ve had a few things fall through and stop the arm, but I’m able to work around it. If you have very large plates that might be an issue. I have some very deep balls that don’t work well so I just wash those by hand. The other issue I’ve had is that I inadvertently blocked the soap dispenser, so that’s just something to be aware of. Works with liquid soaps and I’ve used pods, I have yet to use powder. When I think of the time I have saved by not having to do dishes, this is worth every penny I spent. It’s reasonably quiet, the noisiest thing is when the waste water hits the sink, lol Taking the could-be-better items (rack and connectors) into account, I give it five stars because of the convenience, quality build, and ease of use. If you want to save a couple of hours a week, get this. I have no regrets that I did. ... show more

Absolutely love this dishwasher. I live in an older apartment with a tiny kitchen and it fits perfectly under my built-in kitchen shelves, I put it on a floor dolly and wheel it out when I use it. I'll rinse off bigger food particles that could clog the drain filter but it can handle softer stuff and lightly dried on things well. I continue to be impressed by how clean it gets tough to scrub things like textured cutting boards and fine mesh strainers. I live alone and usually cook for just myself, sometimes another person and while you COULD fit 6 place settings in it, after kitchen tools and prep bowls it fills up quick. It's got a water heater but I can't speak to how well it works since I just put it on hot at the tap. Definitely recommend reading the manual since it has some quirks I suspect are behind some of the bad reviews that are described in there. Looking around online, there were a bunch of options which I've read are more or less identical and come from the same factory. I went with this one because it was one of the less expensive versions and reviews sounded like SPT has the best warranty service of the bunch, not that I've had to use it (knock wood). ... show more

This dishwasher is awesome. Right now we are in an RV and we have this hooked up to our sink. I was amazed at how well it worked! I'm family and I are happy with this purchase 8 months later🥰
