We were gifted an amazing faux fur plush blanket that is a piece of heaven but costs over $200. I can't afford that so I tried several blanket on amazon and did the touch test with that amazing blanket to try to find one similar - after getting this one I swear I cannot tell the difference between this blanket and the $200 one we got as a gift!! This is the best blanket you will ever buy if you like plush softness that makes you want to melt into the blanket. This one is special because the faux fur "bubble" design is on both sides (most on Amazon are only one sided). When you curl up in this blanket it is the softest most amazing feel. Cool to the touch but warm to cuddle up in this blanket also feels just slightly weighted for extra comforting hug feel. I never get too hot in this blanket. It is literally perfect and for the fraction of the cost of the super expensive one I got as a gift. Watch for sales, I even snagged this at $25 a couple of times to gift to family. Everyone who touches this loves it. This is the best thing you can give someone that lives where it ever gets cold, likes blankets or just wants a blanket to use on occasion. One touch and they will live in this blanket. I gave up sheets and actually sleep in mine! You will not be disappointed but you have to get this one. I can't afford a L*L* blanket and read reviews that this is a close dupe, not sure if it is but it is soft and actually a little heavier than I expected it definitely has some weight to it. I love the color of the blanket and feel, I just wish it was a little longer or had the option to get a longer one. I would have preferred this to be a twin size length otherwise it is a nice blanket, a bit pricey but I bought it as a gift for myself with a gift card, Not sure I would have spent the money on it. ... show more
