The Springfield A14B Optic Mounting Plate, part of the Agency Optic System (AOS) developed in collaboration with Agency Arms, is designed exclusively for the 1911 DS. Each plate is machined from billet steel to ensure proper optic height for an intuitive sight picture and instant target acquisition. Featuring an integral rear sight, this plate guarantees a secure and stable attachment for various red dot sights, including Trijicon RMR, Trijicon SRO, Holosun 407C-X2, Holosun 507C-X2, Holosun 508T, Riton X3 Tactix, Swampfox Justice, and Bushnell RXM-300. Each AOS plate ships with screws for mounting to a 1911 DS handgun.

    • It has been legit
When I first recieved my package, i had the wrong item but contacted the seller and had a response within the first couple hours. They asked for some pictures to verify purchase details. After that was settled I recieved the correct item and was also provided a return package and label for the other. The mount came with screws that had loctite and it was a perfect fit for my 1911. The items packaging was all Springfield Armory for the items recieved. Other reviews said this wasn’t legit so I was hesitant but after recieving multiple products with the companies name and packaging I doubt this is fake at all. The customer service was great! I just mounted my Holosun 407C perfectly and can’t wait to test things out now. ... show more

    • As expected. Check optic screw length before install.
This is built by AOS specifically for Springfield Armory firearms, hence the S.A. packaging. This RMR plate fit perfectly on my Ronin Commander .45. The sight alignment did change from the factory top sighted at approximately 15yds to a combat sight picture with the front sight now over the target. The new rear sight is drift adjustable, but mine installed without need for adjustment. After verifying the (now) backup sights were functional, the new RMR optic installed with perfect alignment. Caution: be sure to use shorter screws to install your optic. This plate is not very thick so longer screws will not work for most optics. Check your fit before installation. I also suggest adding blue thread-locker directly on the plate for optic screw engagement; fill the hole and tighten your optic to manufacurer’s specs. Some thread-locker should seep out onto the sides of the slide when the screws are torqued in place…just wipe clean to remove excess. All in all, this is what was expected and I am glad to have backup sights just in case of an electronics failure. No complaints. ... show more
