The Springfield A14B Optic Mounting Plate, part of the Agency Optic System (AOS) developed in collaboration with Agency Arms, is designed exclusively for the 1911 DS. Each plate is machined from billet steel to ensure proper optic height for an intuitive sight picture and instant target acquisition. Featuring an integral rear sight, this plate guarantees a secure and stable attachment for various red dot sights, including Trijicon RMR, Trijicon SRO, Holosun 407C-X2, Holosun 507C-X2, Holosun 508T, Riton X3 Tactix, Swampfox Justice, and Bushnell RXM-300. Each AOS plate ships with screws for mounting to a 1911 DS handgun.

This plate was a perfect fit on my DS Prodigy with the Gideon SRO clone. It comes with screws for different hosts and they are the correct length for the slide.     • Check your plate before you do any kind of work
So I've bought one plate. So far IT SUCKED....one of the holes to go from optic to plate wasn't machined properly...I couldn't get a screw started on either end just in case it was a thread issue...looked in the hole and there are no threads either....so I reported it to amazon they said we will contact there supplier and all that...said they be in touch the following week fast forward 10 days later and still nothing no correspondence of ANY kind from ANY party..their supplier, Amazon, Springfield, NOTHING...so bought another one we will see if thats better ... show more

    • Great Plate for the RMR type 2
Order the 14B for the RMR was sent the incorrect size but they were quick to replace the plate. Has it cheaper then from Springfield as well as some other sites online. Seems to be well made. Fits the RMR type 2 and any other RMR foot print.

    • RMR AOS OPTIC PLATE
It is a good optic plate & system. Came with a little bit of finsh scratches like it's been made for 3years just sitting in the plastic packaging bag was kind of worn looking, more than the 3yr old Hex Wasp plate that came on my Springfield Prodigy & the rear sight isn't centered, but is easy to adjust & has nothing to do with the seller. Just Typical SPRINGFIELD ARMORY QC PROBLEMS! Fits as it should with new Holosun 507 Comp. Only time will tell if it comes loose like the Hex Wasp GARBAGE OPTIC that came on the Prodigy when I didn't know any better)! A lot of people experience the optic coming loose or others have the actual plate come loose from the slide after 300 to 500rds. So far so good & the AOS RMR foot print plate came with shorter screws than my factory Wasp plate came with back in 2021. Looks like they corrected the screw length so they aren't hitting the extractor on right side of slide anymore. Love My New Holosun 507 Comp & At A Decent Price Point Over The SRO👍 Highly Recommend That Optic! ... show more
