I have always enjoyed baking here and there but I recently started baking my own dog cookies and bird treats and I had no idea how fast they go… you don’t pay the same attention when you’re buying a box and with fresh you make smaller batches. I never realized how much work mixing those ingredients by hand is until I bought this on a whim. It’s a game changer if you’re doing it by hand, no doubt. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend that anyone buy one and this one is nice and solid so far, not even a hint of blade bending. Well worth the price. Just be careful cleaning between those blades! I've had dough blenders in the past but this one is different. This one the part that you smash down actually has an edge, kind of like a knife, so it cuts through the butter making the tiny little chunks you need for pie dough and whatnot. Like everything else, if it can't go through the dishwasher I don't want it. This one goes in and comes out looking like new.

This is a good pastry cutter. It is a sturdy cutter, slightly smaller than my other one, but works great in smaller containers or bowls. Very comfortable on the hand and does it's job very well. I believe it is worth the money spent.
