Received this today to use for bug spray. After assembling and charging battery, and filling the tank, I turned it on, but no spray. Back to reviews, and googling the problem, I found a solution. The pump is not self-priming. I watched a Youtube video about the problem, and the solution was to disconnect the wand, hold a garden hose to the white hose, and let water backfill the hose and into the pump. It took 20 minutes of this (the hole at the end of the white hose is tiny...hard to get water in while letting air out), it finally started working. Other than this, the sprayer works great. It does spray 25 feet as advertised. It goes thru liquid quickly. Took about 4 gallons for my initial treatment of my house. As we got rid of our Terminex service (which cost $1K per year), now I will only have to buy a $20 bottle of bug spray concentrate every year. Bottom line...if you buy a sprayer and it doesn't work, don't send it back...try priming it first before returning it. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn't have the priming issue. I use this mainly for presoaking vehicles during a Rinseless Wash and it works quite well for that. Pros: -Long battery life. -Light comfortable sprayer gun. -Very compact. -Sturdy construction that seems to be of good quality so far. Downside to this pump is that is definitely not meant to let it sit on floor while you spray, so you'll always have to carry this with the provided strap holding it with one hand while spraying with other or have it secured to something that will keep it from falling over cause it's not steady while it starts to loose weight from liquid consumption. The other main thing is that when you put your gun on the provided carrying clip-on harness to set the gun down for a bit, it leaks product non stop slowly but steadily. There is an "on" and "off" lever at the base of the gun where hose connects but this doesn't seem to do anything cause sprayer still sprays wether that's ON or OFF. It's got a few small quirks that could use improvement but overall I'm happy with it so far. ... show more

This is a great sprayer but be warned it moves some product even on the lower of the two settings. I strongly suggest testing with water and make sure you know what the nozzles do and how to adjust. I might have learned this the hard way...I mixed up a couple gallons of weedkiller which normally is plenty to do what I need. I was empty and was only a 1/4 done with what I needed to do. I knew it was moving product but I was surely not paying attention. Watch for overspray and learn from my ignorance. It will spray the distances it says it will and the battery life is pretty solid. The first thing you notice when taking it out of the box is this thing is built with quality parts. The handle feels sturdy. The assembly instructions, not so much. Horrible assembly instructions. You are left to try to figure out where to put the screws they give you. A simple photo of where those screws go would have helped. There is a small bag of rubber grommets they give you. No clue what to do with those. If they are not going to provide clear instructions with better photos, they need to make a video. Never unscrew the tank from the wheel stand. You may never get it to screw back in. Strapping the tank to the wheelbase may be a better idea. ... show more

I purchased the SprayMate Shower Sprayer because it is a no pump sprayer and has a nozzle sprayer that is battery powered with a wide spray capacity. I was using a hand pump 2 gallon sprayer that I had to lug around my 5000 sq foot yard. It would take me 4 to 6 hours to spray my entire yard. Not to mention the number to times I had to refill and repump multiple times. With the SprayMatte Shower sprayer, I can fill the 4 gallon tank, use it as a back pack, refill the container 1 time and spray my entire lawn in 1 hour and 15 minutes. What a time saver!!! I like it so far. I'm using the "cart" option right now. It's a little ungainly if you're pulling it on uneven ground, but ok so far. I LOVE the battery powered nozzle. I was previously using a backpack sprayer with a hand pump that you pumped from your side while walking and spraying. One day of use with that and my shoulder was a wreck for the next three or four days. This is a much better option. Charges quickly, charge is relatively long lasting. I had to return two of these Storm sprayers to Amazon because both were defective. The pump would run but no fluid would come out of the sprayer hose. Called SprayMate 3 times for help. When they called back they offered a work around not covered in the manual to try to prime the pump. Required disassembling part of the sprayer and forcing water into the pump with a garden hose. Really? Pump needs to be self priming and work out of the box without extraordinary procedures. The unit had the specs I wanted and appears to be well designed. Nozzle broke off on first use. Hope I can find a replacement as it looks like the whole wand will need to be replaced to make this work again. Operates fine otherwise.
