    • Little, detachable & functional windbreaker
I got this as an affordable option for a little relief from wind, rocks & bugs on longer trips. The first time I got up to highway speeds it didn't seem to be doing anything, but after a round trip to Laughlin from Phx. I'm glad I purchased it. Countless numbers of dead bugs stuck to the Cobra instead of me & it really cut down on the fatigue I would have felt. It doesn't shield the wind so much, but for it's small size it breaks the wind up very well. It looks ok, but as soon as I parked it took me two seconds to loosen the T-handle screws & remove it (which looks way better for just riding around town). The initial set up takes a little more time of course, but once you get the permanent clamp placement figured out it it all makes sense and the black hardware pretty well blends in with my black bars to where I don't mind leaving it on. Also I'm a bit nervous that my paint will be scratched when I do take the clamps off. Hope that helps! ... show more

Bought this Slipstreamer Cobra and installed it on my Thunderbird Storm to replace the nation cycle switchblade deflector. Looks great and what a huge difference it makes. It was easy to install and the unlimited adjustments allow you to get the screen exactly where you want it to give you the best deflection and aesthetics. The windshield is way too small to be of any use. If you're 5' tall it might be ok but any taller and it's worthless. The thumb screws provided don't hold the windshield very well. You can watch the bars sliding through the holders as you ride.

    • This WILL fit on a Harley Davidson XR1200 despite what Amazon says.
Good looking shield IMHO and the install was simple to do. Rock solid mounts on the handle bars & the shield has a bit of flex with the rubber used on the mounting points on the shield itself. No flutter when going at interstate speeds & it didn't cause any headshake either. I'm impressed for something at this price. ... show more

Garbage. Junk. I bought this as a replacement. The taper on sides of winshield creates a vaccum which sucks the bugs right into your face.This design should never of been made. If the windshield was another 4-5 inches wider the taper wouldn't matter? I would be better off putting my hand in front of my face. It's bogus I have to install a product to find out it is garbage!!! NOW HOW DO I RETURN THIS PIECE OF JUNK??? ... show more
