This is my first time using machine oil, and first time oiling a sewing machine. Before the oil, the gears in the machine were cranking with every turn. After putting A FEW DROPS ONLY (do not put too much) the machine was working properly. The purchase came with the original cap, and a cap with tip. This feature was helpful to drop the right amount of oil in the deposit. To store the rest of the oil, I put the original cap back on. I appreciate the small bottle size for easy storage. No odors are emitted and feels safe to use.

Great on plastics. No smell, no petroleum by-products. Lubricated well enough to slide some very tight hard plastic support structures in place on my vinyl glow in the dark HotWheels two lane racecourse. Couldn't have done this mounting job without this product. Mo mess with the great included pinpoint applicator, no smell and cleanup was a breeze. Haven't tried it yet for speeding up the HotWheels cars but it's not sticky at all so I suspect it will work well for this application.

After breaking Daiwa's reel needle oiler and spending some time browsing through Amazon and tackle review sites, I bought this based on just the item description and title - odorless, synthetic lubricant, and oil. The bottom line is this is a great find for lubing fishing reel components. I've used Penn and Daiwa oil for the last 5 years and this oil almost solved the gritty gear sound in my baitcasters. -- Pictured reel is Daiwa LexaHD 300 - previous generation model. -- Also pictured is Daiwa's reel oil's needle - to compare the thickness of the needles. Where this oil is better than what I've used before: -- Oil is thin, does not gum up -- Doesn't dry faster -- Odorless (A BIG PLUS!) -- Is not made of petroleum derivative -- Very competitive price, great packaging & separate bottle caps for shipping -- High quality material for the bottle (I went through 3 Daiwa needle oiler because they crack over the years) What I think they could improve: -- The needle cap would be very useful. I am re-using the needle cap from Daiwa's needle oiler. -- The needle diameter could be smaller. Compared to Daiwa's needle, it is much larger and the oil starts flowing before I could get it to where I am lubing. For a 300 size baitcaster and even a 200 size baitcaster (Daiwa Coastal TWS 200), the needle is too big to fit in a lot of crevices. For anyone who fish every other week, if not more, and spends some time to rinse and lube their gears, this will prove to be a great find for oil at such competitive prices.

This is a good quality long lasting synthetic oil. Seems to last quite a bit longer than my old three in one. Great for squeaky door hinges and garage door parts and rollers. Been using on gym equipment with polished rods and brass bushings where it is not building up sticky residues like prior lubricants.
