Questionable Quality - Many of the wooden parts are quite flimsy. If using a power screw driver, you have to be very careful not to drive the screws in too deep. Lightly hammer in the locking bolts to avoid splitting a part - as we did The wood is by no means "cedar." Instead, the wood is stained a cedar color of sorts Challenging to Assemble - My son and I assembled the swing set. Both of us are very adept at assembling "things." The illustrations are too small, and they do not always make it apparently clear which side of the board the screw goes into. A word of caution, DO NOT tighten the A-frame screws down until you have them all started - and then only tighten them snug. You need to keep some play in the frames to allow for small adjustments - and once they are all in, go back and hand tighten the screws. In a couple of cases, metric measurements were given to the hundredths of a decimal, which you'll have to convert to inches. There are a lot of parts; it took the two of us almost 5-hours to assemble it. If I had to do this again, I would have purchased a much better and more expensive swing set. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this set to my friends nor would I buy one again. Depending on your budget and ability to assemble "things" with poor instructions, it might work for you. On a positive note, once you anchor the unit, it is quite sturdy. Only time will tell how durable the unit will be. I ordered this set for our grandchildren when they come over to our house. Our 3 year old granddaughter loves it. Our 6 year old granddaughter likes it. From that perspective alone, I'm satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

Ok product. Could definitely be better. Instructions start off very clear but then start to skip steps and by the end left me feeling very uneasy about completion. Sturdiness is ok. Could be better. Strong enough to hold 100lb kid. Wouldn't push it much over that though.

This product could be nice, if it wasn't worse than putting together a dresser from IKEA. The rivets that are meant to hold the boards together do not stay in. As soon as you put the bolts through the whole thing pulls apart. Honestly if returning it wasn't such a hassle I'd do that. Instead I'm spending more money to go buy longer bolts and nuts to hold it together. I can't even say how durable it is, because right now it's not even sturdy enough to finish putting together. ... show more

I purchased this for my son’s 3rd birthday, and he loves it. The building process was fairly straight-forward, instructions were pretty clear, though I did have to undo little things here and there due to them. Instructions recommended 4 people to assemble, we did it with 2, and the process lasted about 6 hours. The quality of the wood is superb, and it smells great. The media could not be loaded. Pay attention to the small details of the pictures and you’ll be good to go. Took 3 people about 5 hours after sorting the pieces and flipping a few boards that were attached incorrectly due to not paying attention to detail.
