This is a very heavy duty, very secure, bike lock, and cable. I recently had my adult trike stolen, and it had a cheap lock on it. It was hard to get it to click in and my daughter rode it last night and I don’t think the lock clicked in like it was supposed to. So I bought an E bike and decided I was going to buy a nice strong lock for it. This thing definitely does a trick. It has a 6 foot cable along with the U lock, so I can wrap it around a bike rack or a pole, and through my bike tires and frame, and then lock the U lock to the bike rack all at the same time. Nice and secure. If you purchase this U lock you should definitely get the longer 6 foot cable. It really helps keep the bike secure. The only thing I don’t like about it. It is pretty heavy and my bike weighs 59 pounds alone. Highly recommend. ... show more

One of the best bike locks I've owned. Very heavy duty and plenty of length on the cable to lock your bike to whatever you need to. I especially like the option to connect the bike to your frame with the quick release tab. What a great idea.

Great hold, came with keys and everything in the picture. Definitely heavy and sturdy. Easy to open and close with the keys. My small issue was the holder not being tight enough on my bike so the lock would be moving around when riding so I moved it to where it would be hanging. Not bad. Hard to hold in position and lock without three hands. And it's relatively short. So you can lock your wheel to your frame, but unless the bike is almost touching what you're trying to lock it too it's not going to work. On the plus side it feels solid and well made. What can I say?.. You get exactly what is described. I've used this a few times and absolutely love it! The only thing I might have changed is the length of the cable. It's still do-able and keeps your bike safe. It's a but on the heavy side but that's exactly what I want for peace of mind.

I needed a bike lock and cable - but I didn't know would I should get. I found and decided to order the Sportneer Bike U-Lock for securing my bike. I have found that the lock has been easy to use so far. The U-lock has a solid feel in my hand and the length of the 6 foot cable has given me some flexibility when I want to loop around the frame or even with the front wheel. Having both pieces together has made things simpler - I didn't need to track down a separate cable. The include mounted bracket has also been helpful. It attaches securely and it's kept the lock steady while riding without shifting around - which I appreciate. Overall, this has worked well for my everyday use. The materials feel durable enough for my needs, and the setup is straightforward. Very pleased with this. The lock is tough, the wire long enough. Appears very well made. The keys on this lock work well. Maybe another inch added to the length of the "U" shape lock could have been slightly better, but this does not take away from the quality of this product.
