It’s rare that I write product reviews, but it felt warranted in this case. These inserts have been wonderful. I’ve used orthotic inserts in the past, but after a recent meniscus surgery, I needed some thing with a little more shock absorption. It was hard to choose one that didn’t seem like total garbage or way overpriced, but apparently this is exactly the right balance. They are extremely comfortable, easy to trim to fit into my sneakers. And I didn’t have any issues with the arch support being too high. In my view, it’s middle of the road and just right. I won’t be surprised if I buy another pair so I don’t have to keep swapping them between shoes.

Purchased these to replace existing shoe insoles that came with my new hiking sandals and so far i am happy with how they perform. These new insoles provide much more foot comfort, cushioning and shock absorbency than the ones they replaced. I had to trim them just a little bit to fit my shoes and the template they provide is a handy guide to ensure you cut them to properly fit your shoes. Durability is unknown at this point but I will see how they fare with extended hikes in a tropical environment. If they persevere I will probably buy more of them.

the athletic insoles were too thick for my feet to fit properly in my cleats. the heels were raised so much, my foot came out of them every time i made a sprint. i will say they felt great initially, but i was not able to perform the tasks i needed to and had to come out of the game to put the original inserts.

Update: After a month of use my foot pain came back. I weigh 240lbs. So these only last 30 days. I’m guessing 60 days if you are lighter… I play pickleball 3-4x a week. I would get stiffness in my achilles and soreness in the balls of my feet. No other insoles provided the support and pain relief that these did. I will continue to buy these.
